Mother Nature's Wrath
wow today was just..messed up!
it wasn't ppl that were messed up, but rather mother nature was. the rain today was just so spotty and unpredictable! it wasn't raining after church or anything. but then it was supposedly pouring at the softball diamond when it wasn't when i was at home. weird, but it was true 'cuz when we got to the diamond and even on the way there, the roads were wet and the field was damp.
but anyway, we got there, and the first 45mins it was pretty good, no rain and such, but we knew the rain was coming 'cuz we saw a huge rain cloud coming for us. then it just started to come down and wouldn't quit for about maybe 10mins. Phil and Ben Mar left 'cuz they didn't think the rain would stop. then i started to tell Gen, Letty, Vince, Dan, Wendy's cousins, and Wilson that they could leave if they wanted to. then about 2-3mins after i told the last ppl, the rain stopped, and Kevin and Jeff Leung came and told me that more MCAC ppl were coming. thankfully Vince, Letty, and Dan were still around when the rain stopped. later on, Vicki and another Kevin came along with some other ppl that i don't know.
so yeah, we played around for another hr or so, and then Wendy and Odie came. i didn't think Odie was coming 'cuz she was so late already! :P but yeah, we were able to start a game...8v7. my team didn't even manage to score a run!
it started raining again at around 5pm-ish, and we just called it quits after that. then i headed over to MCBC 'cuz i thought that there was gonna be badminton in the gym from 4-6pm. but when i got there, it was empty. no one was in the gym, no one was really at church either! so i was like..boo that sucks. then my bro and i had to wait for Steve's dad to come pick him up at MCBC 'cuz i thought that we were gonna play, so yeah..you can figure out the rest.
anyway a question that's totally off topic. why do NASCARs have fake headlights? it's just painted onto the stupid car.
now, what to do for the rest of the evening? hmm..
