"Exam Break" Football

so yeah, CCFers played football today in between BMH, SLC, some other building, and MC. in that field there. it was pretty muddy and schtuff, but we were able to tough it out and get dirty!

so yeah, it was suppose to be an exam break. but..how can it be an exam break for me when i haven't even really started to study? but i really should start. i'll start tomorrow!

anyway football. i woke up at 2.30pm, just half an hr before we were suppose to start. i just washed up and went with Jeff. didn't even bother to eat lunch. it was good. slippery, but good. i got pretty dirty. made some tackles, but mostly they either got thru me, or i didn't do anything hahaha! but i did finish with 2 touchdowns, one off an interception. the plays were mostly running plays, not much passing. i think playing with the MCBCers is a little more organized with how the game is played and stuff. i think from experiencing playing with the CCFers, it seemed that a lot of ppl were just winging it. but all in all, it was good.

we played until about 5pm, and then just hung around for another half hr before we headed back home. got home, took a quick shower, and then we (Ben, Jeff, and i) headed off to some plaza up on Albert St., where there was a PizzaPizza and ordered our pizzas. afterwards, we went to Shopper's Drug Mart and bought some junk. when we left, we were like..dang, we should've brought our backpacks 'cuz we had a lot of stuff to carry. but then, right there infront of us was a vacant shopping cart from Sobeys. of all places a Sobey's cart. Sobeys is like so far away, what the heck is the cart doing there? so we just loaded it up with our stuff! haha..went picked up our pizzas, went over the Little Ceasar's to pick up crazy bread, and then we were on our way back home...with the cart. hahahaa! it's parked outside our door as i type this. :P

so we watched Old School while we were eating, such a funny movie. "Blue, you're my boy!!!" hahaha..aaaaanyway..then after that, i watched American Idol that i downloaded, and found out that Nikko got kicked off later on. and then i watched The Machinist. what a messed up movie. dunno how many ppl would like it, but it was weird. i'm not burning it 'cuz i probably won't watch it again.

oh yeah, today, i was mishearing several things. 2 things really come to mind. the first one was when we were walking back from the plaza after getting our pizza. we were talking about how we're allowed to have pets at WCRI. so Ben was like, "Get a chinchilla that has fangs." hahaha..i totally miss heard that. i heard, "Get a chinchilla that bangs." HAHAHAHAA...Jeff was pushing the cart and then he just let go of it 'cuz he was laughing so hard and i was like.."What?" and then Ben was like..i said with "FANGS!" while gesturing fangs from his mouth. hahahaha..that was so funny!

the other mishearing was from American Idol. Simon was commenting on Anthony Fedorov's performance. after Randy and Paula gave their comments it's Simon's turn right? he said, "Hideous." hahaha but i misheard it as "Idiots!" HAHAHAHAA!! oh man, Jeff had to correct me on that one! hahaha..so funny 'cuz i thought he was saying "Idiots" to Randy and Paula, which i think sometimes they are. i think Paula is like the biggest suck up ever to these contestants. and the judging really does suck this time around 'cuz there's no constructive criticism at all. it's always like, "Yeah that was good, i really enjoyed it" or "Yeah, you sang it well, i was into it" and all that crap..and if it's bad, "Yeah, that didn't do it for me man, i wasn't feeling it," "It was out of tune for the most part it didn't show your strengths as a vocalist," "That wasn't the right song for you" and all that crap. at least Simon is brutally honest with the contestants. i used to not like Simon 'cuz of his comments, but now i like him 'cuz they're true and honest, and better yet, FUNNY!

so yeah, that was pretty much my day. how was yours?
