Grad Ball & Seekers (W2005): Game Six: 1-1 T

so we end the regular season with a record of 2-3-1. good enough for 9th out 13 teams. thus, we are the top seed in the lower draw. we have a bye in the first round.

so yes, the last game was a 1-1 tie, and we got it all on tape. well most of the game. we got to see a lot of ice too..like..just white ice. but oh well, we need a tripod so the cameraperson doesn't get too tired holding the camera for an hour. haha..so anyway, the game. it was a good game, we had a lot of chances to win, and i guess they did too. i had 2 breakaways on the same shift, but one of them a defenceman caught up so i wasn't able to get a shot off. but i should've scored on the first break. dah well. i was still able to pot a goal. it was sweet! Gabe wins the face off straight back to me, and i one-time it top shelf! BOOYAH! afterwards, Gabe told me while laughing that even if i shot it a second later, i would've still scored 'cuz the goalie had such a slow reaction to it. oh well..i dunno what else to report from the game..oh, an aside from the game, at practice, i broke my first stick! haha..i still have it, keeping it as a souvenir! hehe..broke it on a slapshot.

alright, so what have i been up to?

Friday. did research on my Contemporary Japanese Society paper. went to CCF. went to BubbleTease. went to Grand China after that to play Bang! played Bang! until 4am. went to sleep at 5am.

Saturday. woke up at 8am. practice at 9am. McDonalds from 10.30am-12pm. research from 1pm-4pm. shower at 4pm. Vivian picks me up at 4.30pm to go to Joanna's place. 6.30pm leave Joanna's place for Waterloo Inn where the Science Grad Ball was held. Grad Balled until 12.30am. go to Mike's house and play poker until 4.30am. i am so tired.

Sunday. wake up at 1-2pm. hockey game at 3pm. home at 4pm. research for CJS until about 2am. 2am start studying for Soundtracks: Music in Film term test on Monday night. pass out at 5am.

Monday, wake up at 1pm. study some more for S:MiF. Sociology of Mental Disorder class at 3.30pm. home to study some more for S:MiF test. test at 7pm, class at 8pm. home at 10pm, take 2hr break. start writing CJS paper at 12am. pass out at 6am.

Tuesday. wake up at 12.30am. start finishing off CJS paper. finished paper at 6.30pm. print, leave for CJS class at 6.40pm. hand in paper at 7pm. have class from 7-9pm. harvey's dinner. then squash from 10-11.30pm. and now here i am.

i dunno if i did the CJS paper right, and i dunno if i did well on the S:MiF test. time will tell. at least i can afford to do poorly on them. for my CJS paper, my prof is cool, he'll mark it, but he'll let us try to improve it until the end of March. so that's awesome. so if i get a bad mark, i can take his advice and try to improve it. sweet deal eh? as for the test, that would be a done deal, however, i can afford to do poorly on it 'cuz i got a 77% on the first test, so yeah, it's a good thing. i think i did ok on it, but i'm probably gonna expect something higher than a 65%.

i haven't done much. but Bang! on Friday night was fun. especially the last game with the boys. it was so funny, so many random spontaneous comments. Alex W was like talking to himself and making sound effects. Mike M was making random comments. the best one would be when it was only Alex and JT left in the game (well for the Sheriffs anyway). he said "Now it's only Whitney Houston and his bodyguard" HAHAHA then he started to sing the theme song "I Will Always Love You" hahaha..it was hilarious. and then, when Ken kept on putting Jeff W in jail for the wrong reasons and only after Jeff died that he could put ANYONE in jail. hahaha..that alone got me out of my seat laughint my ass off. it was so funny. ahh, that was fun. the Outlaws won.

another funny thing that night was that i started this whole "gang war" term 'cuz i was an outlaw and was right beside the sheriff. i never attacked the sheriff tho, i was attacking Jeff 'cuz he was attacking me. haha..Jeff eventually died, and then i died, and then he got pissed 'cuz i was an outlaw too hahaha..he's like "WHY WEREN'T YOU ATTACKING THE SHERIFF?!" haha..it was funny 'cuz no one could figure out who i was until i flipped my card over! hahaha..fun fun!

anyway, i think i've said all that i wanted to say.
