Seekers (W2005): Game Five: 4-1 W
so yes, on Sunday, the hockey team played our 5th game of the season. we finally got our legit win of the season. hopefully the next game will be the same. anyway, the game, it was well played by our players. we were able to keep control of the puck for most of the game. there were a couple good plays too. i was in on some of 'em! ;P haha.. yes, the goal scorers were Steve, Adam, i. i finished the game with 2 goals and 2 assists for a +4 rating. :D i'm happy with my performance. hehe..
the first goal was set up by yours truly. haha..i took the puck into the offensive zone and lured the defender towards me while Steve was able to break in alone, so i was able to feather a pass to him and he dekes the goalie out and scores. woo! 1-0.
the 2nd goal Adam scored. he picked up a loose puck in the corner and worked his way towards the net and was able to bank it off the goalie and into the net. i was infront waiting for a rebound if there was one!
the last two goals were scored by me. the 3rd goal i was able to create a turnover in the neutral zone and break in alone on the goalie. not sure how close the defender was on me, but i think he was pretty close, but anyway, i was able to put it in the top left corner. the 4th goal was a rebound scramble in front the i put in top shelf as well. :D
so all in all, a good game for the team, and a good game for me! :D looking forward to our next game on Sunday. come out and watch at the CIF! 3pm! be there or be squared!
moving along now. last night, or rather, this morning, i didn't go to bed until 7am because i had to finish this "major term paper" for Holocaust & Film class. my article review was just as long as this term paper. what gives?! while i was writing, i realized that i wrote way too much, so i had to cut a lot of things out, so hopefully i cut out the right things. this paper took me longer than expected (like always, i really have to manage my time better, or get started earlier rather than later).
so i go to sleep at 7am, and wake up at 12pm. read over one more time, print, eat, go to class. then we sat there for 2hrs discussing Life is Beautiful which we watched like 2wks before reading week. my prof is so not open-minded. you could tell he was getting peeved at one of the students 'cuz she wouldn't agree with his point of view. he would casually disregard the issue by raising another and ignoring it completely. if i had my way, i'd probably laugh out loud for every time he did that to anyone in the class. it's funny 'cuz he reinforces opinions that he agrees with. he's such a bad discussion facilitator. i want to slap him.
after the discussion on Life is Beautiful, we discussed briefly on The Pianist, which we watched last week. i thought the movie was pretty cool, but yeah, we had to read this article, which i did not. we didn't really talk much about it except about how the survivors were able to go back to their normal lives or lack thereof.
then for the last hour, we started to watch some chapters of Shoah. which is like this 9-12hr documentary on the Holocaust and interviews on the survivors. i started to pass out towards the end of the class, i was exhausted.
came home, and fixed up dinner, and started to watch Collateral. man the character Tom Cruise plays is ruthless and accurate! 2 shots to the heart and 1 to the forehead for insurance. RUTHLESS! lol..i didn't watch the whole thing 'cuz i had to go to stupid night class.
night class was dumb. nothing worth talking about. :)
while i was walking home, i was listening to Starfield on my discman. then while i was lip-syncing along to some of the songs that are familiar to me, i was envisioning possible music videos for the songs. but it all involves just walking. but while walking it has to be shot at night, and like the background is very illuminate nightlife. pitch black dark sky with a few stars and then many lights of different sorts. the singer would be singing the song, while just walking as if they're minding their own business and the shot would be just right infront of him. the camera would always be infront of him while he's walking, singing the song.

ok i'm done..gonna go watch a movie now..relax for the rest of the evening..
