No Internet
hmm..i had a post all ready to go for today. but it's not coming up. i wrote it on notepad at home last night at around 4-5am 'cuz i couldn't sleep.
i was planning on going skating this morning, but i ended up not going 'cuz i was too tired, and i wanted to save my legs for tomorrow's game.
so i'm sitting here at the computer lab 'cuz we don't have internet again at home. yippee..should be coming in sometime this week. it's kinda boring at home without the net, how sad is that? i could play games, watch movies, watch tv, or even study....but..nah..
i decided to come to campus to use the computers. haha no..actually, i just came from the library 'cuz i was looking for books for my Contemporary Japanese Society class. we have to write a book review that's due i think Feb 1. i forget. it's around there sometime. but it's just my luck that the Trellis system (the online book catalogue) is down. ARGH. so i'm gonna wait until about 4pm ('cuz that's when it's suppose to be up again) and look for the books again. i used the backup system, but that sucks ass and doesn't tell me if the books are on loan or not. so i looked them all up..and there absolutely NO BOOKS. so i have nothing, and i wasted my time. well, i could go to Renison College..but..i really don't wanna go there. this is annoying..
the keyboards here suck too. my wrist is hurting from typing. aaaaanyway..man you can only get so much from surfing the internet..i'm getting bored here, i don't have my bookmarks :P i guess i could read the Imprint..there are a bunch of crooks here on campus. dean of engineering's office got broken into this time. sheesh. ppl.
i went to play badminton last night, instead of going to CCF. since the program was prayer night, i decided not to go 'cuz i'm not comfortable praying outloud. so i decided to go play badminton at the CIF instead. it was quite the work out. i think i played well considering i haven't really played badminton since April 2004. it was a little slow at first in terms of getting my "game" back, but by the end, i was starting to hit the birdie more consistently. :D there's a tournament coming up next week already, but i doubt i'll be playing in it since i don't have a partner. i don't talk to very many ppl there anyway.

the prayer nite was actually pretty unintimidating since you didnt haveto pray outloud...i didnt :) (cuz i dont like praying in groups of strangers either). a chunk of time was dedicated to self-reflection and prayer and the rest of the time was just popcorn prayer.
