F2005 Seekers - Game 6: 5-1 W
so yeah, this Saturday afternoon was our last regulation game for intramural ice hockey this term. & it was a humdinger. or rather..boring. we set rules for ourselves this game, since our SOC score has taken a beating. how ..dumb. y'all know my views on it. however, the Puck Bunnies were nice last time, i'm sure it was the refs that gave us the 1 instead of the 2 to bring our score to 3. i'm sure the Bunnies' captain gave us a perfect 2. & they did so this game as well.
so anyway, the rules we set were something like..have at least 3 passes before you shoot. i dunno if that rule was even enforced! i suggested a rule where forwards can only shoot backhand shots. anyway, the girls on our team did most of the shooting. the rest of the team spent most of the time trying to pass it to them. i dunno if THAT sat well with the refs, but the Bunnies didn't seem to mind i guess. we didn't play too hard this game overall. it could've ended in a 6-0 mercy, but we didn't do that.
well my point streak ended this game. i only played center for the 1st period, the rest of the time i was paired with Chris on defense. i just decided to take the opportunity to practice playing defense, & learning to play the position properly. i can officially say that i've played every position in hockey in my 3 terms playing ice hockey for CCF.
in other intramural news, i played volleyball tonight as well. we were able to win this game as well. 2 games to none. it is apparently our 2nd win, since they won last week. i couldn't play 'cuz i always have classes on Tuesdays during game times. so intramural vball team record stands at 2-3 going into the last game on Tuesday, which i'm missing again 'cuz of class. boo!
on Saturday, there was a potluck over at the infamous Westcourt. it was a lot of fun, just sitting there and conversing. Alice came up to visit & drop off food & stuff for Betty, so she came to the potluck as well! so yeah, the night was filled with a lot of foam sword fighting & boinking. lol..it was mostly girls vs. guys. Alice, Betty, & Annie vs. Steve & i. we'd include Denise & Mike Mak occasionally. lol.
after that, they started Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. haha, for the stupid, gay, sappy parts of the film (so mainly when Padme & Anakin are on screen together with bad chemistry), someone would throw something at the projected screen on the wall. hahaha..it was so funny.
so yeah, for the next week, i've really gotta concentrate on work in school. & it's gotta start....after i fold my laundry. :P

I on the other hand got some points...FINALLY....but that will change going back to D in the playoffs. I think I've played every position, except goalie in a game, played once in practice tho.
