Randomize..
many random thoughts today..so let's get started shall we...
does anyone else walk like they would be if they were racing a car? what i mean is like, do you cut corners when you're walking, and like go to the outside, and then cutting into the corner and ending on the outside at the end of the corner? y'know what i'm saying? i think i do that sometimes when i'm walking, i walk like i'm racing, passing ppl from the inside and outside...WOOO!
another thought. why is it that when it comes down to reading something that you need to read for class that you'll find something else that seems more interesting to read to read? i dunno. right now i have to read this book called "Stand and Deliver" for History of Popular Culture, and i really don't want to read it. today, i was going to read it, but i ended up reading only one chapter from the book, and my eyes got tired from it, then i picked up the National Post and the Imprint (a University of Waterloo newspaper) and i was wide awake again, reading that. what's up with that?! why can't school be like that? beats me.
my football pool. i'm back in 1st place! woohoo! but, i know nothing about football players! actually record-wise, i'm tied for first with a 6-2 head-to-head record, but i'm in 1st because i have more player-stat points. yeah i had a 4-game winning streak to start the season and then i lost 2 in a row, and then now i've won 2 in a row. but yeah, this has got to be beginner's luck! i think my team might be doing much better if i didn't drop 3 players, Duce Staley (running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers), Tony Gonzalez (tightend for the Kansas City Chiefs), and Jake Plummer (quarterback for the Denver Broncos). all 3 are starting to put up big numbers. i dropped them 'cuz they weren't producing. BAH! oh well! i'm surprised about how well my team's been holding up when i know nothing about the sport. SCORE! now if only i were able to do that in the hockey pools i've been in. lol!
today in Sociology of Sport class, we watched a video, and it was on wrestling. it just showed how popular it's becoming, and like how much it's affecting society in the ways that ppl emulate what pro wrestlers are doing in the ring, and bullying (that's how far we've gotten). ok, i watch wrestling, and i'm not like dumb enough to do like "backyard wrestling." backyard wrestling is like ppl actually wrestling, doing things the WWE does in the ring: breaking tables, chair shots, etc. at least when my brother and i wrestle (like at softball tournie) i was so fake. we didn't do moves that were high risk. like how harmful can a clothesline be (unless you fall down wrong)? so yeah, these guys tho they jump from like tops of houses, off trampolines, and stuff, it's crazy and there's been deaths and stuff from it too. i dunno, i just think that ppl who watch it should be more responsible and like think. these guys that wrestle on tv are pros, they've spent YEARS honing their skills and stuff. hmm..so i have a point? i duno where i'm going with this. but yeah..wrestling fans, be more responsible! ;P
ok tomorrow is Remembrance Day.
okkkkk..so i asked a friend of mine, would she be scared of mutants? she said yes because she wouldn't be used to them and having them around wouldn't be what we're used to. logical. i think i'd only be scared of the villians. but then again, that's what i think! who know how i'd react when i actually see one. i'd probably pee my pants. but i think it'd be cool to be a mutant! WOOO! i wanna be an X-Man! Codename..oh i dunno. but i'd want...Wolverine's adamantium skeleton, claws, and of course his mutant healing factor..i want to be just like Wolverine! BUB! he's so cool! his profile is coming up..on another day.
so, since we're talking about mutants, here is today's Marvel SuperVillian! he is the X-Men's first and greatest foe, and is played by Sir Ian McKellen in the movies.

Fact File
the self-anointed Master of Magnetism has dedicated his life to the advancement of Homo superior - even if he must bring about humanity's downfall. arguably the most powerful man on Earth, Magneto believes that mutants represent the next step in human evolution, and he's grown weary of waiting for Homo sapiens to cede control of the planet!
Magneto's Powers
Magneto has the ability to shape and manipulate magnetic fields, both natural and artificial. using his powers to augment his strength, he can lift up to 100 tons. Magneto also possesses minor psychic skills, such as the ability to create a mental barrier against psionic attack and read minds on a basic level.
Magneto's Weapons
Magneto has employed magnetically powered devices of his own design, such as a machine capable of inducing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions from afar.
Magneto's Beginnings
Magneto spent his youth interred at the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz. after World War II, he married Magda, a Gypsy girl from the camp. when a mob prevented the rescue of their child from a fire, Magnus lashed out with his fledgling mutant abilities. in a moment of rage, he killed his attackers and several onlookers. a terrfied Magda fled, never having revealed that she was pregnant. later, arriving in Israel, Magnus befriended Charles Xavier, a believer that humans and mutants can coexist. Magnus, however, viewed mutants as the new minority to be persecuted for their differences.
Magneto's History
determined to conquer the human race, Magnus became known as Magneto. before clashing with the X-Men, Magneto assembled the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants - which included the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver - later determined to be his children. some time later, an ailing Xavier pleaded with Magnus to assume control of his school. posing as Xavier's cousin, Magnus mentored the next generation of genetic heroes. but relations between the New Mutants and Magneto grew steadily worse, and Magnus abandoned the team.
once again, Magneto became a "villian," but Xavier still hoped that he could convince his old friend to set aside his extremist beliefs - that is, until Magnus forcibly extracted the Adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton. to Xavier, this act proved Magneto to be irredeemable, and he lobtomized Magneto, temporarily rendering him a vegetable. after recuperating, Magneto held the planet hostage and demanded a homeland for mutants. ultimately, the United Nations granted Magneto the African island of Genosha. there, Magneto proclaimed his intended dominance over mankind, and the X-Men narrowly averted his attempt to incite genetic war. Magneto sustained grave injuries during the conflict.
Infamous Quote
"Man is a parasite upon human resources. He eats our food, breathes our air and occupies land which evolution intended Homo superior to inherit. Your replacements grow impatient!"
Magneto's Mortal Enemies
once a close friend of mutant mentor Charles Xavier, Magneto is now his deadliest foe.
Fast Fact
once, while battling Xavier's second team of X-Men, Magneto struck down the adolescent sprite known as Shadowcat. shocked and dismayed by his own actions, he withdrew to Asteroid M, his space-bourne fortress.
