The Long Sunday..and a bit of Monday

since my brother changed his plans with the car, i was able to go to church instead of sleeping in. so to church i went.

i was about to sit down when i spotted Sylvia on the other side of the pew a couple rows down, so i went to sit down beside her instead! it was good to see her again!

i didn't really pay much attention to the sermon though, i was more focused on my stupid left hand. it was all swollen, not majorly noticable, but you could see a slight difference. the hand seemed fatter. boo! it's still pretty weak, but i think it's getting stronger by the day. so i think that's a good sign at least.

after service, everyone just loitered like normal, and then ppl just started taking off left, right, centre off to different destinations for lunch, whether it be dim sum, pita grill, or dixie park. in the end, it was just Eric, Jon Tang, Wilson, and i. i eventually just went home 'cuz i had to return it so my mom can go and pick up the suckling pig my parents ordered for their reunion party they were holding at our house.

so i got home, and passed out for 3 hours. completely missed lunch. woke up at 4pm, and started to gather all the info for the WCRI meeting tonight with Betty, Lorna, and Gabe.

left the house at around 5.15pm and headed to the diamond where i was picking up Betty and Gabe, so i just watched the last couple innings of the Play-Doh/Yellow Submarines game. Play-Doh managed to squeeze out the win, 10-8 i believe. Rebecca is lucky, even though she was oblivious to what she has accomplished thus far. actually, it's her and Jon Tenn Yuk as well, and whoever else was on Fuel last year and is on Play-Doh or Antz this year. they haven't lost a game since last year. that's an incredible run, i wonder how much longer their run will last.

so, yeah, game over. then Gabe went with Wilson H, and Betty went with me, and i just followed Wilson to Eric Chin's place 'cuz Gabe's car was there. then we went to Gabe's so he could take a quick shower. he has a pretty cool fish tank. it's very tropical. or more like it's very Finding Nemo like. he has like Dory, but in yellow, a star fish, a cray fish, a hermit crab, he even has a NEMO! the only thing he's missing is a turtle. haha, and it wouldn't be safe to put in a turtle, especially if it's Joel's cannibal turtle! hahaha!

i just watched a segment on RAW between "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan. so will Hulk Hogan accept Shawn Michaels' challenge for Summerslam? yes. he did accept. like who saw that coming? i did. a million miles away. but let's face it. Hulk Hogan is getting boring. i liked how the cameras closed up on Shawn's face while he was saying "same old stuff." man, it's so true! he always does the stupid hearing thing, the body pumps and the muscle flex and stuff. i hope that Shawn kicks his butt at Summerslam. haha.

but you know what would be even more cooler? if this was all a set up for a new New World Order (nWo). the black and white of the nWo returns. man that would be sick. that would be cool. Carlito Caribbean Cool wouldn't even spit an apple at you 'cuz it's cool!

i remember when i went to Summerslam last summer. it was held at the ACC and i went with my brother. we both missed the Captains vs League game for it. anyway, it was so awesome, we were so close to the ring! it was unexpected that we were that close. it was a cool experience, way better than the one RAW show i went to. we even witnessed WWE history as Randy Orton became the youngest champion in WWE history. it was pretty cool.

anyway, back to where i was before...Gabe's place.

so when Gabe was done, we headed to Markham to pick up Lorna. it took about 45mins to get to her place. she lives so far away! but it was relatively easy to get to her place.

then we headed off to Uncle Joe's for dinner. it was pretty good. i originally wanted to eat steak, but then i had a chance of craving, so i got the fish n' chips instead. friggin Lorna kept making a big deal out of it before we ordered, and then she goes to order the fish n' chips herself! i oughta smack her upside the head! :P hahaha i'm kidding Lorna! chill! :P

anyway, dinner was good, we chatted about the housing stuff since it was pretty quiet there, so that was good. we got stuff figured out, like the price of rent for each room, what's being brought, who's bring what, who has what to offer. the only thing that didn't get sorted out was who got what room. well actually, we DID, but then Gabe decided that he wanted my room too! GRR! it's MINE!

anyway, so all that was done with, drove Lorna back home and we headed back home. the traffic on the way home was brutal for some odd reason. not only that the rain was so erratic too. it'd rain hard for like a split second at time. it was really odd. the weather has been so out of whack lately. like we're going through our 2nd heat wave and the rain seems to be no relief from it. it's just thick humidity.

as i was driving Gabe home, it occurred to me that it might've been more practical if i dropped Betty off first since her exit came up first, but i only thought of that when we already passed it. oh well, dropped Gabe off.

then on the way back, i missed the exit AGAIN! geez..Betty and i had a pretty good laugh about it. reminded her of some stories too about her family and driving mistakes. anyway, took the next exit luckily it wasn't too far, but yeah, finally dropped Betty off and got home at around 11-11.30pm. what a long day. i was pooped. talked for about 30min-1hr on MSN and ICQ before i crashed for the night.

i hate it when i wake up in the middle of the night. and then again an hour before i'm suppose to wake up. it's so annoying! grr!

today was an alright day. pretty busy at the store again. i decided to recount everything i did last week 'cuz i thought that it was too old now. the redoing of files was a long setback. i want the inventory count to be as accurate as possible.

but i came home with a headache, which i still have now.
