That Feeling
*sigh*...
why is this affecting me so much? i feel like such a mess right now and really i shouldn't be. it was nothing. but maybe i'm in denial to make such a statement. it's beyond my comprehension what i'm feeling at the moment. oh well, i'll be able to move on like all the other times this has happened. maybe i'll be better off anyway.
so today, after church, i was able to meet up with my family for dim sum at Happy Jade Chinese Restaurant at Dundas & Dixie (i think). before i left for church, i told my mom not to wait for me if they were almost done. but she never listens to me and ordered food for me so i had to rush over and scarf everything down. i didn't even eat that much. i don't like dim sum all that much anyway.
after, we parted ways, and i gave Vince a call on the cell to see where they were at. still at the church. so back to church i go. i find them at the door probably waiting for me to arrive so they can tell me where they're going. pho on Hurontario & Eglinton. alright. well they left while i needed to go to the bathroom, and then on the way there i also went to the gas station.
haha the gas station was kinda funny. i was glad i was alone 'cuz i was stupid. i hope that no one at the gas station saw me too, but anyway..yeah i wanted to fill up on gas and i was gonna pay by debit. so i did the whole thing with the debit card and Air Miles card into the pump. then i turn around to open up the tank. huh...where is it? DAMMIT it's on the other side. i didn't want to move the van so i tried to see if the hose was long enough to get to the other side. nope. dammit! cancel it. move the car to the right way around and start all over again. haha..i felt stupid. i was kinda just laughing at myself while fillin' up. oh well. whatever.
then i was on my way over to pho. i get there and they're still waiting for a table! lol..i thought i took a long time. anyway, in about 10mins we got our table and yeah..everyone order except me 'cuz i already ate. drank a lot of tea, spilt some too, but got on no one, so that was good. lots of interesting conversations, i'll bring up two. i think it was Jen who asked if Batman Begins was good, and Rebecca, Jon Tang, and i all simutaneously answered at the same time, "YEAH!!!" hahaha..then Jon started reciting lines from the movie while Rebecca and i just laughed. such a great movie. :)
then when we were leaving there was this whole debate about whether or not guys would say that other guys are hot. i think the general consensus of the guys there agreed that they would not go as "high" as hot, but rather, only as "high" as good-looking. haha. personally i'd probably say a guy is either good-looking, alright, or ugly. HAHAH..
so after pho, i had to head home to pick up the practice bats for Silas and Phil so they can distribute it to the captains at the Opening Ceremonies. i though i'd have a little time to just chill at home for a bit, but that never happened 'cuz i had to go to the bank as well. so, did that, then headed off to MCBC again for the ceremonies. a lot of ppl were already there when i arrived.
opening ceremonies were typical. seemed much shorter this time around tho. right off the bat we met up with our teams so we could meet them and work on a skit to explain our team name, Saved by the Bell. more than half our team couldn't make it to the ceremonies, so that kinda sucked, but it seems like we have a pretty good group. we already have a practice on Thursday. hardcore man!
anyway, our skit we didn't really have a chance to discuss it much, i think we planned more of it while we were in the sanctuary watching the other skits. we ended up doing something that corresponded to the Saved by the Bell tv show theme song. haha..i was the guy that woke up first, and notice that we were running late for school. then our captains kicked in by singing the theme song while i was waking up everyone else, and then it capped off with us just missing the bus...hahaha..nice and short.
but i really liked the skit team Achoo put up. it was really funny, especially the one when they were hunting. "ACHOOO..*bang someone gets shot" "whoa what happened?" "uh..i dunno, sniper." haha that was funny. i think Phil got a kick out of that one too. hahaha.
after all the skits were done, the feature presentation was up. the rules for MBCBSL. haha..oh man..after that, everyone was just saying stuff to me about my rage hahaha..(is that what you meant in your comment on my last post Rebecca?!) hahaha..that was fun.
now back to home stuff. Father's Day dinner at Red Lobster just didn't happen 'cuz someone decided that they didn't want to wait 45mins-1hr for a table. so we drove over to Canyon Creek. pretty much the same thing. we could've got a table immediately, but we'd have to eat at the bar or the patio. daddio didn't want that. so we head over to Sushi Tei....no avail there either. so we just went back and got Swiss Chalet for dinner. well it was cheap so it benefitted us that paid for it. lol..but i think we're gonna either go out for a real dinner later in the week, or just have a really big dinner next Sunday for my dad's birthday.
the rest of the night i tried to listen to more lectures for Learning Disabilities. after about an hr, i had to take a short 30min nap 'cuz i was just starting to pass out just listening to the stuff. so after that, another 2hrs and i just had enough of it. tomorrow night, i hope to have energy so i can just get through the rest of it and start my paper either tomorrow night or Tuesday night. i'm really glad that the papers aren't due until like before midnite on Wednesday. haha..11.59pm Wednesday deadline. booyah..
