Scratch That
forget about the the song i had up last night for now.
things just don't look very promising at the moment. everything is being blown out of proportion and frankly, i don't really find it amusing anymore. and i don't think the other person involve is either. that's just what i think though. i have no idea.
an aside, i'm a little ticked too 'cuz some ppl haven't really been keeping their word. i think i should stop trusting their words until they prove it to me. argh..frustrated.
furthermore, my dad has been on a lecturing rampage lately. as i have posted in earlier posts, he's been talking about how i dress and my appearance. today was pretty bad too. at dinner, i joked about eating a whole bowl of pineapple with my mom, and then out of the blue, my dad yells out (in cantonese), that i'm crazy, and that you'll get canker sores in your mouth if you do that. then i just started to just playfully argue about eating a lot of other things and i'll get canker sores too. but he just starts mouthing off at me. so i was like thinking, chill dad!
anyway, he also asked if i knew how to swim 'cuz he read on the news that some kids died 'cuz they drowned while swiming somewhere near some golf resort. i hate how my parents think that what other ppl are stupid enough to do, they think us kids would and lecture us about it. we're all in our 20s now, i think we know what's stupid and wrong. yeah, i know that they're just looking out for their kids, but honestly, we're not that dumb.
so frustrating sometimes. what made worse was that my oldest sister was snapping back at him too, so there was somewhat a lot of shouting during dinner. i just kept my mouth shut 'cuz that's what i do best.
anyway, let's focus more on the positives shall we?
today was the last Softball Sundays as we've or i've dubbed it. i wasn't expecting much of the turnout seeing that the forecast had predicted afternoon thundershowers. so i was a little skeptical that many ppl would come. i thought my prediction was gonna be right when i got there and found that no one was there except for Gen, she was the first one there. then Ken came along, and then shortly after, Phil arrived.
anyway, as time ticked, more and more ppl started to show up, and by the end of it all, we were able to get a game going. so 2 teams, with about 2-3 subs per team. so that's about 12 players a team. not too shabby for the last turnout! seemed like the first and last sessions were the most successful!
anyway, the game itself was pretty good. i'm sure the other team won, but it was a fun exhibition game nonetheless. after the game, everyone was pretty beat. had a waterfight with Odie, and i'm pretty sure she started it 'cuz she splashed water on me. BOOO! and then Bryan got involved and dumped water on my head!! luckily i was able to get my hearing aid off before water started to drip on my ear. *whew* that would've not been cool! lol..that's why, if you're gonna have a water fight with me, it has to be below the head!! anyway, i'm not sure who had the worst of it. Odie had 2 more water bottles than me, but i was able to steal one of hers and used it against her. hahaha..sucker! :P anyway, that was fun..refreshing too actually. it was hot and i needed something to cool myself down.
left the diamond with Joyce and drove her home. even though it was a short ride, it was a good chat..about personal stuff. but i'm still a little GRR at her! :@ she should know why! that's all i'll say about that!
after dropping Joyce off at home, i headed back over to MCBC for some badminton. they started at 4pm, but i arrived at around 5.15pm. Gilbert, Bryan, Ben Mar, and Jeff Tram were on the court when i arrived. after getting my shoes on, Ben gave way and let me play with Bryan. we started a game and Bryan and i were able to beat Gilbert and Jeff in the first 2 games. actually, Jeff Tram left in the middle of the 2nd game for Howard. i kinda felt bad 'cuz i hit Jeff a couple times with smashes. one of them was around the crotch area! woops! in the third game, it was Howard and i against Gilbert and Bryan. we were able to win that game too in a tiebreaker. it was close all along. it was a good session. i would've played Gilbert in a single match, but it was 6pm and i had to go home for dinner. next time, next time.
i was gonna go see Mr. and Mrs. Smith tonight, but i opted not to go because i thought that i should rest and also do some work.i should really get around to doing that, but i feel so lazy right now.
maybe i oughta get down to some work, yes?

oh yeah, before i leave. my MSN is up and running again! who would've thought that refragmenting your drives would work! if that was the causal factor of it working again! i'll take it! WOO! :P
