"Curse of the Bambino" Is a Cliche
sooo..haha i'm at a loss for words. i guess i have writer's block now. well better now than while i was writing the paper right? right now, i'm trying to figure out how i'm actually gonna pull off the month of November. in a previous post i had my tests and assignments all laid out. but now i actually need to make a timetable to get them all done! i'm just worried that everything will be last minute since my tests are back to back days and then like 2 wks later it's the same with my assignments. that's gonna be hell! lol..but i'm sure a lot of you ppl have gone through worse.
i found out my final examination schedule this afternoon. and i dunno, i can't say i'm pleased! i have my exams on December 9, 10, 11, and 20. BOO! i have to write a freaking exam on my birthday! oh well, at least it's better than studying on my birthday. but that last exam i won't wanna study for 'cuz it's so far away!! oh well, what can ya do. i also found out some of my marks for midterms i've written. still gotta get one other 2 other marks back, maybe one tonight. but with the marks i've already gotten back, i can say is that i'm happy with one mark, but another mark, i'm not that happy about, but i can't do nothing about it. it's still a pass in my books! ;P
lately i've been watching season 8 of Friends since i finished watching all the possible Initial D stuff, Joey, and Smallville. so yeah, i've run out of things to watch. i really need to buy another stack of CD-Rs so i can burn more stuff. but anyway, Friends. this series is just so cool! lol. when i grow up, i wish that i will live in that kinda environment. y'know? it's like ideal! interact and become best friends with your neighbour across the street. stuff like that. but show-wise, this is gonna be a classic series. yeah the show just finished, but it has to be the best comedy series i've watch..or been interested in anyway. yeah i'm biased. but yeah, i think it's classic in the sense that it will always make me laugh. the same jokes, the same reactions. it's just overall a great series. i loved it.
alright, today's post isn't too long. nothing interesting is happening in my life. not that anything interesting ever happens anyway! i'm sure y'all got much better entertaining stories than i do! all i really do is sit on my ass all day and watch media off my computer and go to school.

Cyclops's Powers
Cyclops possesses the mutant ability to project a beam of concussive force from his eyes. as he cannot control his optic blasts, he must wear a visor or glasses with ruby-quartz lenses that block the beams.Cyclops's Beginnings
Scott Summers was born to Major Christopher Summers and his wife, Katherine. Major Summers was flying his family home from vacation when a midair accident crippled their plane. Katherine pushed Scott and his brother, Alex, out the door with the only available parachute. with their parents presumed dead, Alex was adopted, but Scott remained comatose for a year. years later, as a teenager, Scott began to suffer from severe headaches and eyestrain. he was sent to a specialist, who discovered that lenses made of ruby-quartz corrected the problem.
Cyclops's History
Professor Charles Xavier rescued Scott from an abusive foster parent and enlisted him as the first member of the X-Men. as Cyclops, Scott became deputy leader of the X-Men. eventually, Scott married Jean Grey, but only after he had fathered a child, Nathan, with Madelyne Pryor, a Jean clone. when Apocalypse infected Nathan with a deadly virus, Scott was forced to transport Nathan two millennia into the future. when Scott and Jean returned to their own time and bodies, Nathan reamined in the 30th century. he would mature into his time's greatest hero - Cable.
during battle with Apocalypse, a powerless Scott merged with the would-be conqueror. Jean detected Scott's psyche inside Apocalypse and kept the X-Men from destroying him. however, he was presumed dead by most of his teammates. only Cable and Jean refused to believe Scott had perished. investigating rumours he was alive, they found him struggling to reassert his mind over Apocalypse's psyche. thanks to the support of his adopted family, Scott was able to shake off the devastsating effects of his merger with Apocalypse and rejoin the X-Men.
Cyclops's Relationships
Scott had fallen in love with Jean Grey, but his reserved demeanor prevented him from expressing his feelings. when the Phoenix Force took Jean's place on the team and subsequently committed suicide, Scott believed the love of his life had died. later, Scott met and married Madelyne Pryor, unaware she was a clone of Jean created by Mr. Sinister. when the real Jean re-emerged, Scott left his wife and rejoined the X-Men to establish a new team - X-Factor. Madelyne went insane and perished in combat with Jean.
Cyclops's Mortal Enemies
the mutant warlord Apocalypse lives by a merciless philosophy: survival of the fittest. only through conflict and strife will the weak be culled from the strong, and only the strong deserve to survive. War. Plague. Pestilence. these are his tools. and with them, he means to rule the world. but first, he must destroy Cyclops and the X-Men!
Cyclops's Loyal Alliances
Professor Charles Xavier saw fit to create a safe haven where he could train teenagers to use their unique genetic gifts for the betterment of mankind. during a span of several months, the telepathic teacher assembled his first recruits. along with Cyclops, they were Angel, Iceman, Beast and Jean Grey.
Fast Fact
while Scott and Jean were on their honeymoon, Mother Askani - matriarch of the Askani Clan - drew their spirits into the future. there, they inhabited new bodies, and as Slym and Redd, raised Nathan into early adolescence.
