Seekers: Game Five: 4-1 W
argh..ANYWAY..now good things about the game. we were able to play with discipline. so that was good. we were able to hold back our shooting, and passed much more this game. our effort this game was better. we only scored in the first period. oh, and i played this game, my ankle felt fine when i was playing, so that's definately good news. i scored 2 goals, and Gabe scored the other 2 goals for us. we had so many players on the bench today, and we got the smallest dressing room. it was so crowded, there was like no room to walk. it was crazy.
anyway, our next game is slated for Thursday, November, 4th. so we have like a week off. but we do have practice tomorrow (Friday), but i dunno if i'm gonna be able to make it.
i think i watched too many videos lately. i've watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze, Initial D Stage 2 and 3, and Head of State. i'm thinking about watching either an episode of Joey or Smallville before i sleep tonight. :P
just a comment about Banner. an anonymous person (who are you?) said that "You would think that Banner would have a higher intelligence since he's a nuclear scientist or whatever.." yes, i can see your assumption, but when Banner transforms into the Hulk, his intelligence doesn't follow, he's reduced to being as dumb as a rock. the Hulk is like another personality.
anyway, right now i'm really enjoying reading the newspapers and what they have to say about the whole New York Yankees collapse. it's pretty funny. i still can't believe it. the Yankees are one of the most powerful teams in baseball with the most potent lineup you'll ever see. and they blew a 3-game series lead. that's just unbelievable. the Boston Red Sox were able to do it with 2 extra inning games. that's just perseverance. David Ortiz truely does deserve the ALCS MVP honours. Johnny Damon did chose the perfect time to snap out of his slump. what was even more incredible is that he hit both homers off the first pitch he saw from Javier Vazquez (Damon also has a history of hitting lots of jacks off him too!).
i just found out that the St. Louis Cardinals are gonna be headed to the World Series against the Boston Red Sox. cool, we'll get to see a sea of red at both stadiums. too bad for Houston tho, it was a good run for those boys. it would've been interesting to see Roger Clemens pitch again at Fenway Park tho. one thing i don't get, i dunno WHY Clemens ever signed with the Jays. why did he sign with us? it's just odd. anyway, i dunno who i'll be rooting for, but i think i'm leaning more on the BoSox side since they haven't won a World Series since 1918.

Fact File
once an aspiring actress, Susan Richards instead found worldwide fame as a member of the Fantastic Four. but this Invisible Woman isn't about to fade into the background! bathed in cosmic radiation during a fateful trip into space, Sue continues to develop her paowers and play an active role in the team's leadership.
Invisible Woman's Powers
Sue Richards' psionic ability to manipulate ambient cosmic energy enables her to bend light without distortion - thus rendering herself, and other people and objects, invisible. also, by projecting columns of psionic force beneath her, she can travel freely through the air.
Invisible Woman's Beginnings
Susan Storm, the eldest of two children, grew up comfortably in suburban Long Island. by age 12, she had met Reed Richards, then a Columbia University graduate student living in her aunt's rooming house. enamored of the shy but handsome scientist, Sue promised to keep in touch with him. when she moved to California to pursue an acting career, she again encountered Reed. the two began a long-term relationship, ultimately becoming engaged.
Invisible Woman's History
Invisible Woman's Mortal Enemiesafter college, Reed Richards designed an experimental startship. while on a test run that included Ben Grimm, Susand and her brother, Johnny, the starship encountered intense radiation. after surviving a crash-landing, all four discovered that the cosmic rays had mutangenically altered their bodies. Sue could now turn invisible at will. Reed convinced his friends to use their powers for humanity's benefit. under his leadership, they became known as the Fantastic Four.
after their marriage, Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman produced one son, Franklin, who possesses latent mutant abilities. when Reed was thought dead following a battle with Dr. Doom, Sue assumed control of the team. as such, she has faced a number of trying decisions - chief among which was her determination to send her son into another dimension to protect him from the Fantastic Four's many enemies.
soon before Sue gave birth to Franklin, her blood cells were found to carry a strange form of energy that threatened their lives. Reed and his teammates journeyed into the Negative Zone to obtain the Cosmic Control Rod. once Mr. Fantastic procured the device and drained a portion of its energy, he used it to bring the strange substance in his wife's blood under control. consequently, Sue would safely give birth to a healthy baby boy.
once known as "Invisible Girl," Sue learned how powerful she truly was when Psycho-Man temporarily brainwashed her into attacking the Fantastic Four in the guise of Malice. the horror of the experience caused Sue to re-evaluate herself and her role on the team, and she updated her codename to "Invisible Woman."
Invisible Woman's Loyal Alliances
Sue Richards and the rest of the Fantastic Four have set out to safeguard the world - and each other - from any and all threats beyond the means of conventional peacekeeping forces.
Fast Fact
because the effects of the cosmic rays had weakened her body, Sue and Reed's second child was stillborn.
