Productivity. In a Different Sense.
so yeah, Thursday night, i actually went to be early. early meaning, 1-1.30am. and it was a good call. i woke up in the morning feeling much better. i think i just needed to catch up on some sleep and rest my brain a little. :)
the weekend thus far has been pretty busy. Friday, i ended class and ate lunch with Betty, Kevin, Sam, and Sam's friend. it was a pretty good chat. then they all left except for Betty 'cuz she had a class at 2.30pm. anyway, we reflected on softball, and after that we wanted to play some softball! haha! bah, oh well, it was raining outside anyway.
so after lunch, i went home, and just played X-Men Legends for like 2 hours. until Ben and Betty msged me about dinner. we went over to Betty's and made spagetti with sausage. it was really good! and then we played around with a little etch-a-sketch type thing they had. it was fun. we were drawing "abstract art" as Ben would call it. it's suppose to make sense, but have no meaning..right Ben? :P
after dinner we headed off to CCF for bible study. uh, i was pretty tired, but i know we talked about some story from Genesis, with Lots? yeah, i think the basis was about right and wrong, and rules. Correct me if i'm wrong! i was kinda, out of the discussion last night. i didn't say a word. but towards the end of the study, we were talking about all these different laws that were illegal a couple years ago, or laws that are illegal now that were legal several years ago. examples would be marijuana and sodomy. ok the sodomy part was actually funny 'cuz not everyone in the group new what it was. as the discussion of this topic was getting louder, the other group in the room started to take notice. so when it climaxes to Jeff L saying, "Isn't sodomy like ANAL SEX?" haha..we all look over to the other group and they were like staring right back at us. hahaha it was funny, the whole group just started to crack up. that was a classic moment.
later when CCF was over, a bunch of us went over to BubbleTease for some wings and bubbletea. our table, oddly enough was almost all Mississaugans. so out of 10, 8 of us were from Mississauga, and then the 2 non-Mississaugans there had identical jackets! ok that's just WEIRD. then we find out later that another guy that came in later went to the same highschool as this one girl at our table, but they never knew each other? ok that's weird too! too many weird things happened!
anyway, now it's later in the night..dunno what time it is either, so yeah, Ben, Jeff W, and i came back to my place to play some X-Men Legends. we played until like maybe 2.30-3am. at around that time, my brother also called me to tell me he was coming since he was here in Waterloo for Oktoberfest. so he crashed at my place for the night. we played X-Men until like 4am.
now, this morning, Jeff W called me at like 9.30am so we could go shopping with Betty. Betty needed shoes, i needed a tensor band for my ankle, just for like support. so yeah, we went to Conestoga Mall, Betty got her shoes, and i got..uh..2 new t-shirts from Bluenotes. i swear, that's like my favourite store now. i don't care if little kids are wearing the same type of t-shirts as me, but i think they're pretty cool! haha! they're funny! so we headed off to downtown St. Jacobs to get a cake for a friend's birthday. then we headed back to Waterloo, to National Sports. the store is like freaking huge! i never knew it was there either! i contemplated on getting a practice jersey, but i opted not to. however, i did buy my tensor band there AND a mini hockey set! hahaha!! it's soo COOOL! and it was on sale. i got 2 nets, 4 mini sticks, and 2 foam balls. come next term! there WILL be hockey...in my house. hahaha! even tho i'm playing ice hockey, but still, that's besides the point. :P it's SOO COOL!! :P
so yeah, i think i spent way too much money this week. time to cut back on the spending. 2 dvds, a music album, a mini hockey set, 2 t-shirts, a tensor band, bubbletea, wings x 2, today's lunch. i'm broke, i literally have no money ON me. zero dollars in my wallet. wow, money goes fast. it's like time flying when you're having fun.
anyway, dropped my brother off at Natasha's place 'cuz that's where Matt was staying, and he's his ride home. stayed there for a bit and chatted about various things, it was good. said goodbyes and came back and here i am.
later tonight, going to my friend's place to "party it up". haha
tomorrow's the hockey game. 7pm, CIF. BE THERE!
