You're Fired!
ugh! i am so tired. my arms are sore and my armpits are sore! it was quite a workout though. but anyway, damn you crutches! you've caused me nothing but pain! you're FIRED!
i took the doc's advice today and use crutches to take some pressure of my ankle. and well..in my opinion, that's only good advice if you absolutely cannot use your ankle and walk. so..that means bad advice for me 'cuz i CAN use my ankle and walk albeit a VERY noticable limp. but, heck, i'll take the pain over using those damn crutches again!
it took me 20mins to get to my first class. usually takes me 10mins, so that's not bad i suppose, but i was throbbing by the time i got there. my arms were aching. keep in mind, i've never used crutches either, so i was kinda awkward on 'em too. but anyway, took me another 15mins from class to get to Health Services to book an appointment with the doc. kinda like a progress report. i think my ankle is getting much better, so yeah. that's good news! :) i rested at Health Services for a bit before i took off for home.
bumped into Gabe at the SLC, and went to Tim Hortons 'cuz he wanted to buy half a dozen donuts. then off to home i went. took me forever to get back here tho. maybe 30mins. i dunno. shouldn't have taken me that long.
so yeah..i've concluded. no more crutches. i can walk under my own power! i like to think that i have a healing factor like Wolverine. he can heal so fast, but i'm probably like..many times slower than him, but faster than a normal person! haha :P
i'm sure my x-ray results came back negative, otherwise i think i'd be in much more pain. wouldn't you think? yeah, i think it's just a mild sprain. i don't think it was such a severe one. last night i was a little mobile..with limping still..but yeah. i thought i needed crutches, but in actuality..i don't. i can control my balance. :)
so yeah..once again..

but but but, if you practiced on crutches you'd build up more upper arm strength or balancing on one leg! :) and you'd get better faster so you can play hockey!!
