Useless thoughts..
my brother's birthday was yesterday (Sept. 29), sooooo....

alright, today was pretty uneventful i guess. so far the week has been pretty uneventful except for a few things.
today i was suppose to go play squash and badminton. both didn't happen. squash 'cuz Ben had an assignment to do and job fair. badminton 'cuz when i got there they weren't allowing guests anymore. i'm thinking about joining the club tho since i can get out of class early on Wednesdays. we'll see about that tho.
i haven't gotten hit by flying doors so far this week, so that's good. things are looking up! :D
went to my first cell group meeting, ever. it was CCF Men's Cell Group on Tuesday night. it was pretty interesting. talked about King David and Psalm 86. i think the whole basis of this passage is just staying with God, keeping in constant touch with Him, and serving Him.
i think that's all i gotta say about things about campus-related things.
now last week, my building had a fire drill on Tuesday afternoon i think. i dunno..but yeah, i was in my room when it happened. when it first went off, i didn't know what that sound was. i thought it was the TV at first, but the sound didn't correspond with what was happening on TV..so i was like..what the heck is that noise? then i finally realized that it was the fire alarm! hahaha..so yeah..went outside..big deal. fire alarms...so gay, but mandatory.
anyway, jumping into another topic. what's up with all these hurricanes and tropical storms in the States? i dunno what the Caribbean Islands did to deserve those natural disasters, but i have a theory of why the USA got it (among other disasters)! hehehe!

c'mon. haha, this is just a theory (probably totally wrong, but i find it quite coincidental). it's horrible, but i dunno just an idea that went through my mind. so here goes...
we've all probably heard of all the bad things that has happened in the States in the last 3 years. 9/11, hurricanes, school shootings, earthquakes. ok not so much the school shootings, but eveyrthing else in that list. moreover, take into account what the Bush government has done as well, especially the situation surrounding Iraq.
i dunno, to me, it looks as if God is punishing the States for past actions. i guess 9/11 for the election confusion that went on in the Florida state, and then with the Florida state receiving the devastating hurricanes. and the earthquake and hurricanes can be a result of the Iraq crisis as well. like i dunno..i can't put up a solid theory on this, but does anyone know what i'm talking about? does anyone see what i see?
like the whole Russian terrorist attack, i dunno. that's a whole other thing. i don't know why that happened. crazy ppl in this world, that's all i gotta say. but yeah, it's sad how society is these days. there's so much violence and stuff. but like what can we do?
