Game One: 7-2 L

Seekers.

that's our team name. when i first heard of it, and i'm sure most of the players on the team thought so too, i thought...Harry Potter. it's that game they play on that field on their broomsticks, and Harry's the SEEKER for the Gryffindor residence. hahaha..it's kinda cheesy, but it's cool. i guess Seekers is an appropriate name as we are seekers of God, as well as seekers of the puck! ;P

we had an intramural game today. so yeah..oh wow..i'm so tired. there was a point where i was on the bench and i felt like puking. lol! i guess that just goes to show how hard i was playing? or how out of shape i am? HAHA! i think it's the latter! :P but anyway, i thought it was a good effort as a team, there's lots of room for improvement that's for sure. i think at our next practice we're practicing positioning. we were pretty much winging it out there.

so yeah..as indicated, score was 7-2 for the other team. but hey, i scored a goal! it was a narsty one tho. haha. but a goal is a goal. i'll take it! so yeah..i forgot how i ended up with the puck, but yeah i had it, obviously. i went in one-on-one with the defenseman, took a glance to see where the net was and used the dman as a screen, and just let it rip. haha..i just shot it with no particular aiming of any sort. it was a high shot, the goalie got a piece of it with his glove, and it just bounces into the net. GOAAAAAAL! haha..scored my first goal in my first hockey game! WOOOO!! shinny doesn't count (then again, i never scored haha). so YAY ME! hopefully many more goals and points to come! ;P

i'm so sore now. haha! Game 2, next week. Thursday, September 30, 2004, 11pm. CIF (Columbia Ice Fields).

so anyway...um..yeah..some of you might be wondering about the "One Word Post" HAHA!! yday, my friend and i were having an interesting conversation on MSN, and yeah, the topic of our blogs came up. we both write "so-called" long posts. so yeah, i told my friend that i'd write a one word post, just to spite her. haha you probably all figured out who my friend is. ODIE! haha..she's funny, but the biggest sap ever. HAHAA *tear*...hehee.. thanks for being such a great friend in such a short time. you see ppl, i known of her for a couple years now, but never talked to her until this summer during softball. lemme tell you. she's weird! haha..but a great person to talk to. full of energy and great stories, even when she's sick. alright, enough of the compliments, haha i've said enough!

oy, i owe ppl testimonials on Friendster. they're hard to write sometimes. i'll find the time to do that..when i'm procrastinating.

oh, and i have to start thinking about what to take next term. i think i should go talk to my academic advisor. i dunno if what i'm doing is right. so i should go make sure i'm on the right track.
