Seekers: Game Three: 3-1 L

0-3-0 is now our record for intramural hockey. GO SEEKERS!

this game i didn't participate in because i'm still recovering from my sprained ankle. that story, a little later in the show! so yeah, today's game, i was a spectator/coach. i was screaming line changes and just encouraging the team. at least i was trying to. haha. :)

so yeah, we lost 3-1 tonight. it was a good effort. the other team scored goals in each period, while we were able to get a powerplay marker in the 2nd period i think. the defense is continuing to improve. and some new players were inserted into the lineup while two were out of the game, one of them being me, and another out of town. but we're definately getting better. 7 goals in the 1st game, to 5 in the 2nd game, and now to 3. i guess the projected number of goals allowed for next game would logically be 1 if you want to follow the trend.

i'm hoping to be back for the next game. i have 10 days to heal up from this ankle injury. it really sucks. when you're watching your team play, you really itch to play. so yeah, 10 days is a lot of time, but we'll see how my ankle progresses. our next game is Sunday, October 17th @ 7pm. come out to the CIF if you're in town and cheer us on! :) we're playing the all-girls team for our next two games.

right now my ankle feels fine, mobility is coming back. i'm able to walk a little faster with less of a limp. so that's definately good news. i have an appointment with the Health Services doc on Thursday. hopefully i'll get some good news. :)

today, i also went to see my academic advisor to see how i'm doing in terms of where i'm at and what i need to do to graduate. everything is much more crystal clear to me now. and i can finally explain to my parents where i'm at.
so right now, i'm sitting in 3A term, going into 3B next term. i'm suppose to complete:
  • 25 courses in the Arts Faculty,
  • 25 courses above the 100-level, and
  • 40 courses (yeah i dunno why it isn't 50 'cuz 25+25=50, but whatever!)

so anyway, as of after this term, Fall 2004, i'll be sitting at:

  • 22/25 courses in Arts,
  • 16/25 above the 100-level, and
  • 27/40 courses.

so yeah, i only need to take 13 courses to graduate! so this is my plan for now.

  • 4 courses in Winter 2005,
  • 2 courses in Spring 2005 ('cuz i don't plan on being in Waterloo in the summer),
  • 4 courses in Fall 2005, and
  • 3 in Winter 2006.

sounds good to me! :D i'll be done in 2006!!! i will be happy! :D

oh man, i'm tired. i have a midterm tomorrow in Social Psychology of Leisure. i studied so much today too from like 4.30pm-10pm, with like multiple breaks in between (KINDA watched CSI..the tv was just on, i was still taking notes, HONEST!). at 10.30pm, i left to go watch the hockey game, and came back at around 12.30am, and then just studied some more until now. i brought it upon myself though. i should've started earlier like Wednesday or something. but i procrastinate like a mofo.

i think i'm gonna sleep until 9.30am. so i can get some last-minute studying in. so if i sleep now i'd get 5-5.5 hours of sleep.

free dinner tomorrow! wooo! sweet! :D

hope everyone has an enjoyable Thanksgiving long weekend! enjoy your time at home while i'm stuck here in Waterloo studying my ass off! :D
