Freaking TV!
"He made us believe a man could fly."
this was shown at the end of the last Smallville episode i watched. who is that man that made us believe?
Christopher Reeve.
Superman.
i'm sure everyone has heard that this incredible guy has left us earlier this week. it's sad. he was 52 (1952-2004) he was super and courageous. i believed that he would be a walking miracle someday, it's just too bad that we can't actually watch that miracle come true anymore. at least he has given hope to millions that are suffering from paralysis. but hey, he's in a world where he can walk forevermore. :)
a tribute to Superman.
i think my tv is like one of the weirdest things on earth. it doesn't work properly. it used to. i think it's just very very old. you know how the older you get, the weirder and crazier you get..like in mentality? yeah i think that's my tv in terms of tv age. i think this tv is older than me, maybe not. anyway, it likes to cut in and out of static and picture. so it's really annoying when it cuts out when the tv show reaches it's climax. but yeah, when it cuts out to static, it picks something else up on the antenna. i think it's like some sort of radio station. it plays ads and music only. weird eh?
i really wish i had more than 2 stations. i only got CTV and Global, and Global's signal is pretty fuzzy too. CTV is REALLY clear..probably because of CKCO (the Kitchener-based CFTO back at home). i have to say, CFTO news is waaaaay better than CKCO. CFTO is much more polished and professional, at least in my mind. so because i have CTV, that's like the only station i watch, and they always play like these crime shows, like Law & Order, or the 3 CSIs, and Homicide. CSI is actually growing on me tho. it's really interesting, altho i couldn't imagine how much all that state-of-the-art equipment they use to solve a case costs! insane!
anyway...yesterday, i forgot to mention what kinda fobs i saw when i gave out that little category thing. the girl would be categorized in the loud normal type. maybe a little obnoxious too. the guy, he was pure gayness. jumps and down when he doesn't want to give the girl something he has and then runs away. like seriously, WHO DOES THAT? so gay! especially if it's a guy doing the jumping up and down and running away. what a wuss. :P
i feel a whole lot better today with respect to the light-headedness. i still have a little bit of it, but with enough sleep, i should be back to normal soon. i think i'll start studying again tomorrow..no wait, tomorrow's Friday, so scrap that. i'll start on Saturday. :D Friday is always designated NO STUDY day, unless i really have to study for like a Monday test or assignment.
i just came back from Health Services for my one week checkup on the ankle. everything is just fine. no fracture! well, i figured it anyway since i can practically walk normally now. now it's just some self-rehab that i have to do to strengthen the ankle again. the doc gave me some exercises that i can do to heal it. one would be writing the alphabet with my foot. another would be standing at an edge of a stair and push up and down. even tho she said that it should take another 4-6 weeks, i'm aiming to be back much sooner! i'm probably gonna pass on the hockey game this Sunday. it was a hard decision but i think i've made up my mind. i'm aiming to back on the ice for the next game on Thursday. but again, we'll have to see about that too.
after the check a bunch of us from Men's Cell went out to eat dinner at Morty's Pub on King St. the place was packed. i guess i shouldn't be surprised, afterall, it was a Thursday night. anyway, it was a nice chat during dinner, it was dominated with talks about X-treme sports and skiing.
yesterday i also thought that i'd reward myself from all that studying! ;P after my midterm, i headed off to HMV, which is very close by, and bought 2 movies and an album. i got Seven and Any Given Sunday (which i watched last night) and got the rerelease of Usher's Confessions. i'm giving away my original Confessions album to a friend 'cuz i obviously don't need 2. ;)
anyway, time to waste the night away. what to do? :D

1 Web Spinners:
i like watching sue thomas: fb eye on ctv ... it's "another" crime show but it lets me practice my lip reading skills and understanding ASL since the actress/character on it is mostly deaf :)
