That's all I really wanted to share. Hahaha..
Jaroslav Halak was simply amazing. A 53-save effort in Game 6 and he follows that up with a 41-save effort tonight to oust the top team in the East. He made a lot of big-time saves!
Some people are starting to compare Halak's playoff performance to that of Ken Dryden and Patrick Roy's. I, personally, think that it's still too early to tell. I think if he plays well against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the next round, we can start talking.
That being said, I don't take away anything from Halak's performance against the Washington Capitals; he was simply amazing and was the difference maker in this series. The other three monsters this series on the Habs were Mike Cammalleri, Maxim Lapierre, and Hal Gill.
