X-Men Rule!
The X-Men. Simply the COOLEST group of mutants ever. :D It's really too bad that the movies don't really follow the comics. ESPECIALLY X3: The Last Stand. That was just awful.
So, I took it upon myself to write a little story or what I would like the fourth installment of the X-Men franchise would be if it were to follow this ridiculous movie called X3. I actually wrote this while I was at work. It's a rip off of the Bishop storyline but it had to be slightly altered 'cuz of everything the movie franchise has become.
The title of this movie is X4: The Return.
This story is the aftermath of the Dark Phoenix Saga we witnessed in X3: The Last Stand, where Wolverine guts Phoenix when really he should've gutted her while completely buck-naked (but they had to make it PG right?).
It's 10 years later (we know this because it will say on the screen "10 Years Later"), Storm is now the leader of the X-Men since Xavier and Cyclops perished because of Phoenix. Along with Storm at the Mansion, the survivors in Wolverine, The Beast, Angel, Colossus, Rogue, Iceman, Shadowcat all in tow, still kind of rebuilding the Xavier Mansion in New Westchester, NY (I think that's where it's located). All the young kids are growing up, and the most ready for battle would be Jubilee. Along with returnee in Nightcrawler. There are a few new faces at the Mansion, and that would be a cool red-eyed Cajun from Louisiana - Remy LeBeau, otherwise known as Gambit.
So the team consists of Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Angel, Colossus, Rogue, Iceman, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler and Gambit. The new X-Men. All of them in different parts of the mansion. With the original members of the team, we pan in on them, and then we hit a brief flashback to highlights in previous movies just to jog the viewers memories a bit.
(These flashbacks could happen in any order except Wolverine's, his has to go LAST.)
Nightcrawler. He's just sitting outside, reminiscing of the time he invaded the White House, and then how much of a contrast that was to when he saved Xavier from Mastermind.
Colossus. His flashback will consist of when we are first introduced to him in his bedroom when Stryker's army invades the mansion, and we see all the darts bounce off him in his steel form. Second flashback is the danger room sequence where him and Wolverine team up for a fastball special.
Iceman and Rogue. Their intimate moments. (don't really care here haha)
(Ok, wasting too much time on the flashbacks..on to Wolverine's flash and then back to the real story).
Wolverine. Well what can be done with Wolverine. The first time we meet him in a cage. When he jumps off the banister on the top floor on to the soldiers. His battle with Deathstrike and Mystique, when he meets Jean for the first time and when he kills her.
Now, back to reality. There's a storm coming in, and they don't know if Storm is the one causing it, so they all go outside to take a look.
Fast-forward. Screen says Year 2065 (or whatever year that's more accurate in the storyline). It's a drastic change from the present time. It looks more like a wasteland than anything. Buildings are completely abandoned. No signs of humans or life. It's nighttime.
We see a new mutants battling it out with these cool looking Sentinels. We see a mutant shooting energy from his hands alone while holding a huge as energy gun blasting his way through. We see that he's fighting along side a familiar face in Wolverine, a much aged Wolverine. Wolverine gets shot and is down for the count, not dead. We find out that the mutant he's fighting along side is none other than time traveler Bishop. He's a soldier that's fighting against the Sentinels and their concentration camp for mutants. Inside the camp we see some familiar faces as well. It's the X-Men, all shackled up, marching.
Back to base, Bishop successfully brings Wolverine back to base. They devise a plan to stop all this madness, and that's with the help of Forge and his machine built time machine. His mission is to go back and prevent the death of all the X-Men in ensure that the future doesn't end up the way it has because with all the deaths of significant characters, like Xavier, Phoenix, and Cyclops, the world becomes dark. The evil villians take over since the X-Men are pretty inexperienced in combat without their leaders.
So Bishop goes back in time to 2002, before the Phoenix entity takes over Jean Grey's body. Everything is bright and beautiful. Bishop never sees anything like this before in his life. He goes on his search..for the X-Men.
On his way, he encounters the Brotherhood of Evil doing some..I dunno, evil stuff. And being the good soldier he is, he tries to stop them. Someone blasts him, and then he's like, oh that's a big mistake and blasts them back, since his mutant power is to absorb energy shot at him, and being able to channel it back at them with maybe a little more force. So this battle takes some time, and the X-Men finally arrive. Don't know who to attack, but it ends up being like a 3-way battle, team vs. team vs individual.
As always, the Brotherhood retreats because they are chicken, so it's X-Men vs Bishop now. Both don't know that they're good guys. Just after Bishop blasts Gambit, he sees Wolverine and kind of recognizes him. He speaks under his breathe, "Wolverine?!" But then gets taken out by Iceman. Knocked unconscious.
We find them back at the Mansion in the infirmary where Bishop is lying. Xavier is there to question him. Bishop explains why he is there and what he must do, but Xavier is a little skeptical and wants to see for himself, so he asks Bishop permission to enter his mind. Xavier is baffled by the images he is seeing from Bishops memories.
Xavier then calls for everyone into the Mission Room...
After this part, I don't know what to do. 'Cuz, I'm outta ideas. So that's my rendition of X4: The Return.

Now let's go back in time. I put up a post about what I thought the first X-Men movie should've been like back in February. You can read about it here. You'll have to scroll down quite a bit though 'cuz I rambled on about the Nordiques/Avalanche franchise for a bit. The first one was simply called The X-Men.
Now, since I wrote that one, I thought, why not write what the 2nd movie would be about, 'cuz y'know, I don't have a life at work. So I wrote this one at work as well (and no, I didn't write X4 and X2 on the same day).
So recap: The first X-Men movie was called The X-Men.
The sequel, part two, I have titled X2: Rise of the Sentinels (OOooOoOOoOOOO).
Now, on to this movie, it's a couple years later now, the X-Men have aged a bit and we have new characters to go along with the original X-Men. The originals include:
Professor Charles Xavier (Professor X): Leader of the X-Men and Founder of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning in Westchester, NY. Possess telepathy.
Scott Summers (Cyclops): Field Leader of the X-Men. Optic Blasts from the eyes.
Jean Grey (Phoenix): Second in Command. Telepathic and Telekinesis.
Hank McCoy (Beast): Scientist. Uh..looks like a human gorilla. Oversized hands and feet (and I guess brain since he's a freaking genius).
Warren Worthington III (Angel): Multi-millionaire, playboy. Feathered wings, and hollow bones; flight.
Bobby Drake (Iceman): The youngest of the group. Turns precipitation in air into ice.
Along with this team, newcomers include:
James Howlett (Wolverine): A super-assasin, with adamantium skeleton, claws, heightened sense of smell, and healing factor
Ororo Munroe (Storm): An African Goddess who can manipulate the weather
Remy LeBeau (Gambit): Ragin' Cajun from Louisiana, can change potential energy into kinetic energy
Rogue: A hotty, that has the power to absorb other ppl's memories and powers.
Piotr Rasputin (Colossus): Formerly of the Russian Mafia, can transform himself into steel.
With these guys in tow, they form the New X-Men. Fighting for one cause, and that is for peaceful co-existence between Homo Sapiens and Homo Sapien Superior.
Now, where there is good, there is evil. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Their original team consists of:
Magneto: Fearless leader, Master of Magnetism
Toad: Um..he's human that has the abilities of a toad..
Blob: Big, stupid, and fat. But invulnerable...almost.
Scarlet Witch: Magneto's daughter, manipulates probability fields
Quicksilver: Magneto's son, speed demon, can run as fast as Superman or Flash.
Mastermind: Projection of illusions
With this original team comes one newcomer. Graydon Creed, otherwise known as Sabretooth. He's Wolverine's archnemesis. So there's a little backstory incorporated into the movie too with their backgrounds and why they hate each other. Bad blood and cool fight scenes all around! :D
So with the X-Men and Brotherhood re-introduced. They find themselves in battle again with Magneto leading his Brotherhood in senseless crimes. Magneto's goal is to make humanity hate mutants because he believes that they cannot co-exist like Xavier thinks so. So he would go out and threaten society to join them, or be their slaves. But every time, Xavier is there with his charges to stop him.
In one such encounter, they are on the open streets of NY, Broadway to be exact. Thousands of people around shopping, minding their own business, when suddenly Magneto attacks with his Brotherhood, just damaging whatever is in their path to prove a point. Xavier senses this with Cerebo and assembles the X-Men and are one their way to the coordinates. They do battle.
THEN BOOOOOOM, a missile of some sort comes out of nowhere. Both teams are baffled and they don't know what's going on. They look up into the sky and they see this giant machinery coming towards them. They don't know what it is. Then the machinery attacks them with lasers, none hitting any of the mutants below. They are GIANT robots that seem to be muttering in a robotic voice "Mutant signature detected. Apprehend mutant." So everyone is kinda like WTF, why are they attacking us, so the Brotherhood and the X-Men team up to defeat this giant robot. Just then, a few more come and surround them, but both teams are able to defeat them.
Each team goes their separate ways. At the mansion, everyone is looking for answers, and they turn on the TV just in time for the 6 o'clock news. The newsflash, "New Sentinel Program begins today." So this program explains the new giant robots, which are called Sentinels. They are designed specifically to hunt mutants.
The X-Men are not happy with this so they set out to find the base of operations for this program. They are successful in finding the place, but they also find out that the Brotherhood have been looking for this place as well. Both teams want to shut this program down. Of course the building is protected by a few Sentinels, but that doesn't stop some of them from entering the building. Inside they find the manufacturer. A even bigger machine, its name is Mastermold.
So yeah, action scene ensues, and Mastermold is destroyed. Or so we think. Everyone is a little banged up from fighting the robots and all.
The Brotherhood and the X-Men go their separate ways again, but for the X-Men upon arrival back to their mansion, they find that it's been totalled. The only clue left behind are giant footsteps, and then in the background fading in is someone big laughing. Could it be..the Juggernaut? And then we just then was see Cable show up....
End Movie. ...To Be Continued in X3: The X-Cutioner Song.
