Softball Update: Games 6-8

These are just gonna be really short game recaps in point form on what I remember. Although they might be biased on my part, but I'll try my best. :)

Game 6: Blessings (13) @ H2O (6)

• grounded out for the 2nd time ever in my softball career to lead off the game (bad omen for the game)
• got robbed of a hit by a girl
• Gary's diving catches (one a short, one at third)
• double play from 2nd to 1st (B to Odie)
• Joel getting called out at 2nd, twice (once was safe for sure!)

Game 7: H2O (31) @ Harbingers (7)

• leading the game off with a homerun
• Vince taking a tumble rounding 2nd enroute to a triple to follow
• Desmond's hat-trick of homeruns
• mercied this team in the first 3 innings, then went up 3 up, 3 down in like 3 of the next 5 innings

Game 8: Soul (15) @ H2O (9)

• we played in a ditch, with brick/concrete walls
• this game sucked
• i don't want to recap it
• but we had a good run at the end, but it wasn't enough

So yeah, this tripleheader weekend (2 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday) was kinda brutal. We didn't really show up. Out bats were cold, and we flew out a lot. We gotta get back to basics and play small ball. And I, personally, need to show up on defense 'cuz I royally suck this year. Overrated mang!

Currently, our H2O team has a record of 5-3, with two games left to go before the season ends, and playoffs start.
