Slowly, But Surely Still Slowly
Ha..so yeah, I'm starting to get back into blogging again. At least, I think so. But who knows right? I'm just gonna let this flow. I'll write what I want to write. I'll write what I want to share. Afterall, it is MY blog. :)
So, I'm somewhat back.
Yesterday, I put up a post about the doubleheader Saturday H2O had at Glamorgan Park in Toronto. I thought the diamond was kinda crappy. The gravel was very loose, so it caused a lot of slippage. Also, due to pile up of gravel, it also made the ball bounce unpredictably. As a result, I hurt my hand on a play where the ball just suddenly kicked up from the ground and almost pegged me square in the face. Luckily, I was able to reacted quickly enough to deflect the ball away with my throwing hand. It stung like crazy, and started to swell up a bit, but after a day, my index finger is almost back to normal.
The outfield was pretty hard too. The grass didn't help slow the ball down at all, and the ball bounced and rolled quite a bit in the outfield, which in turn helped us with our line drives and hits out there.
So yeah, after the first game yesterday, I was running to the outhouses 'cuz I needed to pee right? I noticed that my left knee started to hurt a bit when I running. Like the kneecap area. Not cool! Then towards the end of the 2nd game, my right calf started to cramp up a bit. But luckily it was at the end of the game.
Today, I'm still paying for it. I'm sore ALL over. My back is so sore, it feels like I'm growing wings (like Angel from the X-Men). I mentioned that to Vince today and then I started going off on a tangent, how I'd have like hollow bones like a bird (and like Angel for that matter) and it would be grafted with adamantium, and then I'd have claw like Wolverine too. HAHAHAA..I'm a geek. And then I also said that it'd be cool if I had wings 'cuz I'd save a lot of money 'cuz I wouldn't need a car or pay for gas 'cuz I could just fly to whereever I wanted to go!
Anyway, while we're somewhat on the topic of fantasy or whatever. Here's something I've been waiting for, for a long long time. Click on the link. I'm so excited!! Their war. Our world. 7.4.7!!
