What A Series!

well the Montreal Canadiens/Carolina Hurricanes series just came to a close on a 50-foot deflected blast from the point by Cory Stillman in overtime of game 6 in the series. not the end i was hoping for. :(

however, i liked watching this series 'cuz it was the battle of the goaltenders. it was almost epic. hahahaha..at first, when Montreal won the first 2 games, Cristobal Huet was playing very well for the Habs & Martin Gerber was playing like crap for the 'Canes.

so in came a young goalie by the name of Cam Ward for Carolina & that's when their fortunes began to change. the series got a whole lot more interesting. it was a goaltender's duel. both goalies kept their respective teams in the game, but in the end, only Carolina could bury the games. :(

but still, it was a tough series & an interesting one at that. it's too bad that the Habs lost their heart & soul in Saku Koivu when he got accidentally highsticked by Justin Williams. :(

anyway, it was a good run Les Habitants! until next year!!

in other news, today was gruelling. probably because i didn't get much sleep last night. but i don't think it affected my performance at work. i was just really tired by the end of the day. passed out on the car ride home. couldn't sleep on the subway 'cuz i was standing the whole time. anyway, right before i left, i finished off my grapes i had left. for some reason after that, my eyes just started to tear up like CRAZY. i dunno what it was. was it the grapes? were they sour? i have no idea. i don't have allergies or anything like that. i dunno it was really weird. i was worried for a second. thought i was going nuts. :S

anyway, time for bed.
