My Second Day
well, i found out that the Vancouver Canucks have fired their head coach, Marc Crawford. hey, maybe we'll swap coaches? highly doubt it though. Toronto Maple Leafs will probably hire Paul Maurice, & the Canucks will hire Alain Vigneault. but anyway...
my second day at Canadian Tire.
busy busy busy again! all the stuff i sorted out yesterday, i gotta work on that. so what did my whole day comprise of? i'll tell you, i know you're eager to know!
first of all, i get all the original copies, & highlight the store numbers, & shipping & handling fees. after that, take all the staples off each page. photocopy every single sheet. it's a lot of paper yo! then i would paperclip the originals & do a ticker count (you know those calculater that print "receipt"-type things) of both the total amount, & another for the shipping & handling. then i fill out this sheet of paper with the necessary information on it. with the photocopies, i staple them back with their corresponding papers & send it over to the next cubicle. that's what i was doing all day, & i didn't even finish my stack. that's how much paper there was! :S
anyway, for lunch, i just went to the subway & bought some tokens. starting in May, i don't know if it's worth it to buy a MetroPass for the TTC. it's almost $100 for a month. :S anyway, then i had lunch by myself. haha..& read over the welcome binder.
i dunno, today wasn't that eventful. everyone at the office is really nice, my manager & the lady in the next cubicle always checks up on me & see how i'm doing & stuff, so that's cool. keeping tabs on me, making sure i know what i'm doing. :)
the subways rides aren't so bad so far..but i think i should start bringing something to listen to or to read on the subway.

be careful about what you talk about re: work, because who knows, your manager could find you here! (and there have been cases where employees have been cut because of their blogs) but im glad things have started out okay so far.
ooh yeah one more thing, i dont think canucks will get pat quinn again since he's the one who led them into the finals in 94 (and lost!)?
