Things Went As Planned...

...surprisingly.

given my track record of having plans go as planned...yeah, i'm proud! & you should be TOO! i had a plan, & it worked. so i'll enlighten everyone of this plan i had for this evening (notice i said EVENING).

so let's talk about the flaws for today first. :) let's start with, the time i went to bed. i went to bed at 6am. that wasn't cool. what was i doing? up talking on night on MSN. why? just for the fun of it. i like to talk on MSN. i wasn't studying either. i never study when i come home. that's just a fact. that's just expected.

so anyway, i was awoken at 10am-ish by my cell beeping. i check it & it notifies me that i missed 2 calls, both from "private" number. so i called "private" number back, which is my mom..normally. so i called my mom, & she's surprised that i called her so early in the morning 'cuz she knows how much i love to sleep in. so i was like, didn't you call me? & she was all like, no i didn't. so i was puzzled, but i talked to her briefly & stuff, then i went back to bed.

2hrs later i hear my phone ringing this time. i see "private" again. why is my mom calling me? so i answer it, half asleep still. "yo, are you home? can you come down & open the door for me, i don't have my keys" or something like that..i was half listening. turned out "private" number was Lorna this morning. whoops. sorry.

then i went back to sleep...for another...2.5hrs. 2.30pm wake up. vegged around & stuff, then headed to St. Jerome's to pick up my article critique from Emotionally Disturbed Child. didn't do so bad on it! i was pleasantly surprised. so that was cool. went over to SLC3 (which, btw, is the Student Life Centre 3rd Floor for those non-Waterloo-ers & b.p. ;P) to look it over.

oh & before i left STJ, i also noticed that test 3 for my Dark Side of Sex class was up. i was cringing to look at the mark 'cuz i thought i didn't do so hot on it. i needed a 42% to pass the course altogether. i look & i got a 63%!!!! hahaha, it was my best mark on all 3 tests! YAY ME! :D hahaha funny how that happens. God was definately there for me! :) he's been there for me a lot lately & i thank Him for that & i thank everyone for their prayers! :)

so, after i looked over my paper, i had a plan. the plan was to go to Mikey's Eatery to pick up dinner (since i hadn't eat all day). it was 5pm already. so as i was walking over to Mikey's, grooving to my Shuffle, i heard like this high-pitched voice, screaming my name..so i was like..wha?! & turned around, i see Joyce running out of Sweet Dreams Teashop screaming, "I'M DONE, I'M DONE, I'M DONE!" & then gives me a great big hug! lol..which was nice. it's always nice to get hugs! :) i haven't seen Joyce much this term, & it doesn't look like i'll be seeing her much in the future either (since she'll be in Waterloo for the summer, then the States, & then somewhere, & then back in Waterloo at this time next year..& then she'll leave us all to begin her successful career & stuff...aww :( ), so it was nice to see her. so i went in Sweet Dreams with her for a bit & she was hanging out with Joannie & Simon, so we chatted for a bit.

then we all departed & bumped into Steve outside. so again, we chatted & stuff, & before i knew it, it was 6pm. so much for watching a movie over dinner! so i headed over to Mikey's to finally get my food, & went back home to eat it. watched the first half of Any Given Sunday, took a shower, & off to campus i went.

SO here's where the plan starts!! i planned on studying in one of the classrooms at DC (1350 or 1351). stay there for a couple hours & get through a couple lectures & articles while i'm there, before i get to leave. if i meet my goal before midnight, i get to go over to SLC3 & see who's there. if not, i go home. the contingency plan if DC had exams or was taken was to go study in a classroom over at MC.

so before i embarked towards DC classrooms, i checked the exam schedule to see if DC classrooms were being used for any exams for the day. NOPE! score! so i get there & i look inside, it's PITCH black, save the blackboard lights. weird. so i turned on the lights. damn, it's so dark here, it's not bright enough. so i decided to go down to the bottom & play with the switches. they're smartly labelled, "Low, Med, High" so i flipped the switch for high & COOL! bright lights! i was the only dude in that room! it was so good! no distractions, no noises, nothing. just me.

so i stayed there for a good solid 3hrs (8-11pm) & got a lot of work done. i read through about one section of lectures, finished off the article i was on the night before, & read another article. sweet stuff. so i rewarded myself & headed off to SLC3...to find that no one was there except 1st-yr nanotech Vanessa. so plopped myself down beside her, chatted a bit, & then got some more studying done. went through another lecture & half an article before i started to play around on her laptop, checkin' my email (no emails, no love :( ), & hockey scores.

then came homestarrunner.com my friends. we..or i started & she watched..played some games at the site, like Trogdor, & some other Quest game. spent the most time on the Quest game. we didn't know that heck we were doing..walking around in circles. in the end, i got killed by a horse 'cuz i told the character to "kick the horse". i didn't think that the character would actually kick the horse or the horse would kill me over that! so Vanessa & i had a pretty good laugh over that! lol..

then we studied for another half hour before we headed home at 2.30am.

going home is sometimes the best part of my day. especially around finals time. why? 'cuz there's that anticipation of maybe getting an email from someone, or even a msg on MSN. & just that anticipation of receiving something nice, like a word or phrase, or just something that would bring a smile to my face after a day or night or couple hrs of studying. but then, sometimes that anticipation just gets all shot down when you get nothing, or you get some question that you don't want to answer or just something that doesn't have anything to do with you (like emails from Facebook tellin' you that someone wrote on your stupid wall). just leaves you with an empty feeling inside, like..aww poo...

"gone going, gone everything gone, give a damn
gone be the birds, when they don't want to sing
gone people, all awkward with their things, gone"
~Jack Johnson, Gone

so why am i still up? i don't know. i just finished watching the 2nd half of Any Given Sunday, drank that chrysanthemum tea or whatever it's called (i can't pronounce it), ate a Drumstick (ice cream cone, not chicken), checked some hockey pools (Canucks didn't make the playoffs!), & yeah, now bloggin'.

in conclusion, the planned worked. well i didn't plan on what happened when i got to SLC, but the stuff that happened at DC worked. so BOOYA! :P i think i'll try it again tomorrow. but tweak the times a little. i think i'm suppose to meet up with Eric tomorrow to have a chat over dinner or something. should call him tomorrow 'bout that!

gonna sleep as soon as i finished this though! which is..NOW! g'nite! or rather, g'morning!

it's GOOD FRIDAY! hope everyone has a good Friday. :)
