so i was studying in DC1351 with Vanessa on Sunday, pretty much all day. it was a lot more productive than at SLC3 & i needed it to be productive since the final was on Monday morning.

so, while i was studying, i wrote down all the songs that was going through my playlist that day, until it ran out of batteries. booo!

so yeah, didn't leave until about 2.30am, but i went to sleep at around 3.30am, & woke up again at 6.30am so i could go to SLC3 to study (since i was pretty sure that next to no one would be there). when i arrived only Alex was there..passed out on the couches! crazy guy spent the night there again!

went to write the Emotionally Disturbed Child exam at 9am at STJ. i had to run there 'cuz i didn't leave SLC3 until 5mins before 9am. haha..but i made it on time, but got a crappy left-handed table, so it was kinda uncomfortable writing the exam.

i thought the final went only ok. i didn't like ace it, but i don't think i like bombed it either. i should pass the course, & then pass the year, which would me..I'll be a GRAD!!

come to my Convocation on June 15, 2006 at 2pm!..or after, take pictures, meet my family. :P hahaa

so anyway, lately, i've been hooked on this song that Vanessa actually introduced to me on Saturday night. or was it Friday night? i can't remember. i just know that i've had it in my head..still do. it's called Dim Sum Girl by The Notorious MSG. it's a really funny song, with fake fob accents & everything. i think it's a hilarious, but clever song! you can check it out here.

so yeah, word has been getting around that i've accepted Christ, & with the overwhelming comments from my last post & from msgs on MSN, i really appreciate it all. it's really cool & i look forward to just serving God with what i can. ppl have asked me, how does it feel? do you feel different? mm..i think i can say that i'm happy, & excited. i can feel a sense of peace, no more struggling. :)

after i wrote my testimonial, i said to Sylvia & some others, that i thought it was funny. it was funny because i remember before i was even close to accepting Christ, i was wondering, what if you didn't have a testimonial. i think at first that was one of my struggles to why i didn't accept. i always thought that if you were to accept Christ you had to have a testimony. but, yeah, after i finished writing it, i was like..heh, i didn't even see this coming! my testimonial was being written while i was wondering about it. so mysterious. but God works in mystery..sometimes. :P but His timing is always perfect.

so anyway, after my final, i called up Rebecca to see if she was awake yet. we were suppose to meet up for lunch or something, just to hang out. so yeah, we met up, & hung out, & had lunch. we decided on McGinnis Front Row. i hadn't been there in a while, & i was getting tired of eating Mikey's & had Harvey's the previous night too. so we ate there, & played Hang Man. it was nice to just chill with her 'cuz i haven't been able to do that for a while. it's always nice to just catch up with friends you haven't seen in a long while. :)

then we hit up HMV to see if there were any worthwhile deals. i ended up buying 4 items, 2 of which were 2 for $25 & another 2 for a 2 for $30 deal. the $25 deal was 2 cds (Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory & Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway). yeah, Kelly Clarkson..I DUNNO!! anyway, the movies were the two Mission: Impossible movies.

back to SLC3 so that Victor could walk Rebecca back to McDougall house & Vanessa just finished her last final of first year, so i walked her home from SLC3 & helped her with the boxes she had so she could pack up her things. i just ended up hanging out with her for the afternoon. it was nice to get to know her this past week, studying at SLC & whatnot. i guess you could call her my study buddy for this term! i've given her the nickname STREET 'cuz she's changsta, which she denies but no one believes her anyway. so yeah, it was nice to get to know Vanessa over the past week. she's quite a character who likes to laugh a lot, which is refreshing. :)

went home for dinner & watched Mission: Impossible. well most of it. i packed up a little too. in the evening, like 10.30pm-ish, it was planned to go to East Side Mario's for half-price appetizers. it was a celebration of the sorts, as well as a farewell, & just hanging out! but East Side's was full at plaza, so we needed a contingency plan. the guys at Westcourt hadn't arrived yet, so we called them up.

this is where the road adventure begins (but it was pretty short haha). we decided to hit up East Side's on King Street. closed. then we stood around deciding where to go. McDonald's? nah, should go to a real restaurant instead. decided to go to Boston Pizza. closed. then Wendy's. Kelsey's..all closed! what the deaaaaaaal? i guess it's 'cuz it was Easter Monday, everything closed early? so we decided to go to Morty's, that HAS to be open. haha, half way there, we realized that Vanessa was underaged, so we couldn't get in! froshies *shakes head*. hahaha..but the funny part was that JT called Johnny, who was the passenger of Mike's car & was ahead of us. just as Mike was turning, JT was tellin' Johnny not to turn, & Johnny was like, "don't turn?!" & you see Mike watching us just pass by all the while turning his car in a complete circle. hahahah, i'm not sure if i explained it well enough, but maybe it was a you-had-to-be-there moment. so we ended up going to McDonald's. haha it was fate.

McD's wasn't all that bad. some of us got the McDeal of the day, others just got drinks or sundae's, or whatever. but in any case, it was a good time of hanging out in each other's company. lots of laughs. :) afterwards, everyone went their separate ways..kinda. JT dropped Betty & Lorna off at home, but then JT, Vanessa, & i ended up going over to Westcourt & watched a bit of Mr & Mrs Smith until the rest of the Westcourt gang showed up. apparently they went to a Coffee Time nearby for an hour or so. i think. i don't know if i heard wrong or not. but whatever. :P

anyway, towards the end of the night, Eric decided to pick a fight with me. like always. :P so we grappled for a bit, then his glasses fell off, so we paused to look for them hahaha..then we went at it again for like 3seconds (literally), & i said hold on, & took off my glasses, & then we resumed. haha, we got it on digivideo too haha.. i won! again! i'm the king of jerseying Eric! hahaha :P he had 2 jackets on, a sweatshirt, & a t-shirt on! HAHAHAHAA..oh..fun times. :P

then i stayed up all night packing. i went to bed at 7am, & woke up at 10am & i didn't even finish packing everything. i still managed to drive home though when my bro came to pick me up. :S

when i got home, i was really cranky & was snapping at everyone. i just needed my sleep! i was able to get about an hr nap in before heading to the Jays game.

the game itself was really entertaining. went with Gabe, Howard, Ray, & Jay. Yankees vs Blue Jays. it was really exciting at the beginning of the game, lots of homers, lots of good catches (mostly Damon, on Vernon Wells! haha). kept a boxscore of the game too.

after the game, we headed over to Shoeless Joe for a bite. 2for1 wings! WooT! it was alright, the wings were barely even honey garlic, & the waitress wasn't that great either. she was bitching, but not about us, but other customers. that's not cool!

so yeah, it was a fun night. got to take in an awesome Jays game for $2 & against the Yankees. found cheap parking, underground at that! a somewhat ok meal for late dinner. & good company! :)
