Daily Horoscopes

ok, confession. i get a daily horoscope in my email. i forget why i even signed up for it, & i've never bothered to unsubscribe either. sometimes i find them pretty funny.

but in any case...

here was my April 22 horoscope:

You have real abilities as a writer, B, whether it be with keeping a journal, writing letters, or writing presentations for work. The problem is, you involve yourself in so many projects at once that you often don't leave time to fully develop your writing. Today you'll be inspired to take up the pen (or the computer keyboard) and express yourself. Try to allow plenty of time for your thoughts to flow, because you'll be writing in an eloquent way.

hahaha.."writing in an eloquent way". i highly doubt i write in that kind of style. just take the last entry for example. what was so "eloquent" about that? nothing really in my opinion anyway. i don't think i have any real abilities as a writer. i just write what's on my mind.."express [my]self" i guess..most of the time. i actually do have a lot on my mind right now, but it's nothing i'm gonna write about here, or anywhere for that matter. it's just gonna stay in that noggin of mine.

now here's my April 23 horoscope:

Today you might be focused on improving your image, B. Maybe a friend or family member will recommend that you make some changes. You might want to consider their advice. Perhaps it's time to invest in some nice business clothes. Or maybe you'll want to buy a fancy new briefcase. You'll want to present a more successful professional image. This will make it easier to sell yourself, your products, and your services.

now the problem with this horoscope is that, it already happened, today (today being Saturday, depending on when i actually post this). i was "focused on improving [my] image" today as i went shopping for new work clothes since i start work on MONDAY..omg, Monday is like right around the corner!! ahhhh! i start work for the rest of my life on Monday! so yeah, i "invested in some nice business clothes" if you will. all spent at the GAP. i'm not even gonna state how much i spent, but i got 4 articles of clothing. 2 pants & 2 shirts. i don't want to buy a new briefcase, i don't need one. but yes, a new image at work. maybe i'll look...older? maybe my age? not a froshie or a 2nd year student?

horoscopes are interesting. are they messages from God? or are they just..what are they?!
