Superman Returns
omg, i just watched the 2nd trailer for Superman Returns & it looks AMAZING! SICK! i have to watch it now! it's so good! go check the trailer out!!
anyway last night we saw another Canadian team bow out of the NHL playoffs. :( tragic loss that had some ppl quite sad & depressed, especially Calgary Flames fans. but not me. i was sad & depressed a night earlier when the Habs bowed out. the Flames played like crap..they came out flat, & it looked like they didn't want it. so i guess in a sense, they deserved to lose!
anyway, i don't want to talk about work much on my blog, but i can say one thing. today was a day of a lot of firsts! i'm learning all sorts of new stuff, mostly computer-related now that it's up & running. almost all my applications i have access to, so work is gonna be even more busy now. so i was learning more about the IMS system, the peoplesoft system (the same application that UW uses for Quest), LotusNotes (which is my email), and working the phones now! :S man, i dread the phone. everytime someone calls me, i don't want to pick it up! lol!
but yeah, work is a challenge, but it's good. :) i'm learning lots.
so yeah, i have email at work now! Benson.Chiu@cantire.com. send me an email if you're ever bored! haha.. :P
so, i got off work earlier today so i could go with my co-workers to Retail City, which is a training facility really. but this month was our month, as well as 14th floor, to go there & go on a shopping spree. it's free-for-all, grab all you can & pay super cheap for them. it's only exclusive to CanTire employees too, & only a limited number of tickets were given out too.
so i bought a whole bunch of stuff. i got, a hockey bag, shin guards, elbow pads, 2 sets of 3 golf balls, the paintball gun, 2 paintball masks, a pair of l-shaped shelves, a fan, a sports equipment holder/container, picture frame, & UNO. the hockey stuff i bought for my brother, since he wants to take up ice hockey sometime soon. might even wanna join me up in Waterloo if i decide to play in the fall term.
all for $40 bucks. BOOYA! :D
