Light Bulb
let's continue with Come Thirsty. this is almost like a book review..chapter by chapter break down. or more like things i like to highlight & think is important, for myself & perhaps for others as well. it's like a reminder.
anyway, before we get to the book. i think i'm finally understanding my role at Canadian Tire. furthermore, i think i FINALLY understand what Flex Billing really means. hahhaha, maybe i'm slow. i don't know. so here's my theory on what Flex Billing is. it's called Flex Billing because we deal with both accounts receivable AND accounts payable. how does that work? well, in terms of A/R, it's when we receive money from the Canadian Tire stores across the country 'cuz we have to charge them for the stuff we buy to give to them to sell. so yeah we charge the stores, whereas on the A/P side, we are paying vendors that supply us with whatever it is we need, like parts for the stores, merchandise, whatever.
so that's what Flex Billing is. :) & that's what i do.
so now, back to the book.
same format as last time. if you didn't read it last time, go read the previous post. :)
these are taken from the chapter titled "Hope for Tuckered Town":

- You began your life in Christ by the Spirit. Now are you trying to make it complete by your own power? That's foolish (Gal. 3:3)
- the saved by unspiritual see salvation the way a farmer sees a hundred acres of untilled soil - lots of work
- His words for turkered-out Christians? "As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so continue to live in Him" (Col. 2:6)
- He threw open the passenger door, invited you to take a seat, & told you to buckle up for the adventure of your life.

1 Web Spinners:
i realised the whole driver analogy in the summer of 2004, when i went on the backseat of a motorcycle for the very first time and experienced the thrills (of speed and open air) without having to worry about how to use that thing!
