Wednesday. Mississauga.

yeah, i came home to Mississauga today, which was really yesterday if you want to be technical. i got a lot of msgs on MSN too since it does say that i'm in Mississauga. haha, lots of ppl were puzzled - but, it's a school week? aren't you on study term? you don't have co-op! what are you doing in Mississauga? back so early?

simple answer. my weekend has started already. yup, my weekend starts on Wednesday every week, all term, my last term. sweet huh? :) i have Thursday & Friday off, plus most of Wednesday too since i only have one class from 10.30am to 12.00pm. this class is also running at the same time on Monday, along with my two night classes on Monday & Tuesday. if ya do the math, i'm also only taking 3 courses this term. that's all i need to graduate. pretty cool huh! :)

so yeah, since i was coming back this weekend, i thought, well, why not come back earlier. what would i do in Waterloo until Friday anyway? well Wednesday night i would've went to badminton club, but what about Thursday? i guess i could've studied up in the 'Loo, but what was the likelihood of that happening? then again, what's the likelihood of my getting anything done at home? yeah Lorna even laughed when i said i would study at home. maybe this time i'll be able to prove her wrong? :P

so yeah, i arranged my ride last night (Tuesday) for my brother to come up & pick me up after he had his morning classes at YorkU. he arrived at around 2pm. so time was good, got back at around 3pm & stopped off at the nearby McDonald's for my lunch. watched Coach Carter. hahhaah..i'm in that movie!! well not me physically, but my name was used!! if you've seen it, i voted for the lockout the Carter imposed on his team to end! hahaha..i didn't care about the athlete's education! the basketball team must win! :P hahaha..

anyway, so yeah..after dinner, i got down to work. work as in, getting my brother's internet working again in the basement. i talked to Andre about it, he helped me pretty much in trying to troubleshoot the problem. nothing worked. so i decided to finally get that password on the wireless router we had. would be a good idea too so that ppl aren't freeloading off us..like i have been. whoever "default" was, they had a pretty good connection & usage from me! hahaha..anyway, i was proud that i was able to set up a wireless network from the router in the house. it's not as hard as i thought it would be. Andre helped me out a bit too! thanks Dre!

so yeah, after i changed the password & stuff, i tried to connect on my brother's computer, & voila! IT WORKS! i felt good. i felt like i accomplished something. you know that feeling? it feels good doesn't it?

so yeah..i watched a lot of things tonight. things such as a bit of hockey on TSN (Flyers/Habs, Ducks/Oilers), American Idol, Lost, CSI:NY, CTV News, Gladiator.... man, i'm media whore.

what would life be like if television & movies were never invented? what would life be like if the Internet never existed?

i think the world is better off without any of these..well, actually we do need some entertainment..without it, it'd be boring.

damn technology. seriously. ...but i'm weak, i get drawn back.
