Bloody Diamonds
So..I just came back from Jeff's place after watching Blood Diamond (wow two movies in one day! more on the "first" movie later).
Blood Diamond - starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou, and Jennifer Connelly - was a good movie to watch. I recommend it to anyone to watch.
Anyway, I'm not gonna divulge too much into the movie so that I don't spoil it for anyone. Actually, I'm not really gonna talk about the movie, but rather, write down something that came to my mind when I was driving home.
They say that "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" right? Well, I have one for the guys, "Diamonds are a guy's worst enemy." The rock costs too much money, and in the movie's case, the costs are lives of slaves. Ugh..bloody diamonds.
Anyway, the other movie I saw earlier in the day with Sara and Kevin was Blades of Glory. Originally, we were gonna see TMNT, but...I dunno, I guess they really wanted to see BoG instead. It was an alright movie, had it's moments...but all I gotta say is that it's a Will Ferrell-type movie...and yes, I know he's in the movie, but it's just his type...a sports-comedy-spoof. Waiting for his next sports comedy - Semi-Pro - it's basketball this time. So he's tackled auto-racing, news anchor, figure skating, and soccer. I wonder if he'll do all sports. :P
For the trailers before BoG, saw the trailer for Spider-Man 3....omg..I'm SO excited to see this movie. Can't wait to see VENOM! :D

dunno about TMNT... it's animated turtles! the old school ones are sooo much better!
