W2006 Da Been Lo - Game 5: 6-0 W

i think all i'm really gonna talk about are the goals in this game. we played a very good sound game i think. our replacement goalie, Manny, bailed us out a couple times. he was an excellent goaltender. he didn't have very much trouble with the shots he face as he saw most of them all the way.

goals: a trick from Drew, Kerian, Chris, & i to ice the mercy with 7 seconds to go in the game.

Drew's first goal was on a nice centering feed from Kerian. goalie had no chance. Drew's second goal came after a penalty kill was just finished, made a give-&-go with Justin, & just slapped a laser beam into the top corner glove side. again the goalie had no chance! lol. Drew's last goal was a fluke since he fanned, & it just slid in five-hole. the hat trick wasn't a natural one though (scoring all three back-to-back-to-back)

Kerian's goal was a nice goal, he just kinda went in on a partial break on the right wing & sharply shot it up top corner short (glove) side.

Chris' goal was on a 2-on-0 break with me trailing him. he just deked the goal right then left & tucked it in high stick side.

& the icing on the mercy cake was provided by yours truly. :P face off just outside of our defensive zone. different center dude (since Adam didn't play today) won the faceoff & kinda kicked it to me. i nudged it again, dunno where the left defenceman was, but whatever! outskated the other defenceman & got good positioning. triple deked the goalie & slid it in backhanded on the goalie's glove side.

haha on my shift before that one, i did vintage ME! go in on a breakaway, & then crash into the boards. HAHAHA..JT & Elliot were just screaming hahahaha..it was pretty funny. it was pretty funny! hahaha..

so that's that. not much of a deep post-game report, but it's all you really need to know. :P
