Time for the Holiday Break

so the last time i updated, i just finished my Psychology of Adolescence take home final. so what have i been up to since then? i'll tell you..

from that day until December 14th, Lorna & i were working on our Sociology of Education take home final. lemme tell you, it was a BITCH! at the beginning, i couldn't really get started 'cuz i had no motivation to do it. it was hard 'cuz it was hard to find the information, plus the fact that we had no clue what was needed or wanted. another plus was that we had no recollection of it being taught in class. it wasn't fun to do the research. we got more notes out of the thin textbook than from the thick one.

ok the Leafs just scored two goals while i've started this post.

anyway, so yeah, we decided to split the questions & do one of them together. so i did question 1 & 3, while Lorna did 4 & 5. we did the hardest, in my opinion, question together, 2. it was a lot of sleepless nights, & sleeping mornings, but we got it done.

the take home didn't go exactly as i wanted to, or planned, but it was done. i wanted it done by Wednesday, so i had more time to prepare for my final in Introduction to Human Sexuality on Saturday afternoon. but yeah, i never got it completely done on Wednesday. we finished the research though, by Wednesday early morning, & i had all the hardcopies of what i wanted to write out. see, we couldn't hand in hardcopies of the answers 'cuz she only gave us 1 page to write our answers, & if it was printed, it had to be in 11pt arial font.

so, i wrote out two questions on Wednesday afternoon & then went back home for a doubleheader movie night with Brenda, THE BUS!!! :P haha..yeah, we finished off the Ninja Turtles series we started. Betty joined us for the 3rd movie after she finished packing up her room.

after the movies, i planned on writing out the rest of the questions, but i only got one of them done, while reworking one of the questions so it was easier for me to copy it.

Thursday, i copied down the rest of the questions. i don't even really recall what i did on Thursday. :S but i think i did go to the SLC to study for ItHS. yes, i think i did. & got half a chapter done. pathetic.

Friday was full study day. whopdeedoo. at least i had Brenda's company, although she wasn't a study nazi to me. hahaha..finished off the last touches on the take home, & then submitted it at Renison. my prof was there to receive it actually, & i found out that she hasn't even finished marking our research papers yet. sheesh. her doggie's been sick.

aaaanyway, so yeah, Friday was study day. it was fun learning about..um..atypical sex variations & STIs...

i actually went to bed EARLY on Friday night/Saturday morning. 2am. that's a record. kinda. woke up at 9.30am to eat & study at the SLC. that's like the earliest i've woken up to study this term.

so i had about 5hrs to finish off 2 chapters, & then review the rest of the term since the final was cumulative. grr!

wrote the final. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would've been. at least i thought so anyway. i guess i'll find out once i get my mark back. but my hand started to hurt while i was bubbling in the answers since it was an 115 question final.

hmm..seems like i spent a lot of my last days in Waterloo with Brenda. but she's cool!! it has been really fun getting to know her in the last half of the term through hockey & Alpha. :D we watched the Leafs get pummelled by the Senators on Saturday night! hahaha..Leafs so sucked in the 2nd & 3rd period. at least they played well in the 1st period. haha..they were so bad, that i started to watch old Power Ranger episodes on youtube.com.

so Sunday, i headed home after church. was pretty frantic in packing up whatever i needed to go home. on top of that do my chores too. :S but yeah, i was able to get most of it done before my sisters arrived.

Sunday was pretty boring for me for the rest of the day. i spent most of my time reading the archives of the Ctrl-Alt-Del webcomic, while watching some NFL football. witnessed the Indianapolis Colts' 13-0 perfect season come to a screeching halt in the hands of the San Diego Chargers.

then i fell asleep. for a bit.

yeah, i did nothing Sunday. nothing interesting anyway.

back to the exam period at Waterloo. there's a new craze. or at least, a craze within a few of us. i blame Lorna & Alex for getting me hooked on it. TETRINET! it's fun..if you know how to play, & if you're winning a lot. hahaha.. :P

the one time i'm gonna talk about was just recently. it was Brenda, Joanna, Elloit, Carson, & myself. Brenda named herself "crazybus" & was winning like crazy. all of us were like.."what the heeeck! give is a chance" haha..& then Elliot just dubs her, "The BUS!" haha..so now she is referred to as "The BUS!" haha..she hates it. or maybe she secretly loves it. hmm..i dunno. but anyway, then Carson comes up with the idea to form a team to play against her. team KillCrazyBus. haha..Elliot joins up, but i joined up with "SoMean," which was Brenda's team. Jo is still indifferent 'cuz she doesn't want to make enemies hahaha! it was quite funny. in the end, Jo joins up with "SoMean" & then Elliot jumps ships, & i started the game since i was the host. HAHAHAHAA..Carson's like "Y'ALL TRAITORS!!" hahaha..it was hilarious!!

well today was a little better. woke up & went Christmas shopping with my mom & sisters at Square One. my sisters pretty much bought my gifts, but i couldn't buy 'em anything 'cuz they didn't see anything that they wanted for me to get for them. bumped into Betty & Celine too.

but after shopping, it got boring. haha. i watched a couple episodes of Power Rangers again. haha..i found one called Forever Red. it was kinda cool 'cuz it reunited, or rather formed, a team of all the pass & current Red Rangers to fight some bad guys that was gonna destroy Earth! OH NO! so they must band together for the sake of mankind & save the earth!!! hahaha...

so yeah..not much else to say i guess.
