Wedding Bells Are Ringing?!

so today, i woke up at 1pm. it's becoming a routine. not good. but, yeah, i woke up, did my thing in the bathroom, and then went downstairs for some lunch. that's a typical "morning" so to say.

i went to my dad's office today 'cuz i needed to print off that courseware package that's included on my DE class CD. i opted not to buy that package from Waterloo and save me some money. however, i'm just a little peeved that when i printed it, on one side of the page, it's right-side up, and then on the back, it's up-side down. GRR! my sister told me how to put the paper back in the printer wrong. daaaah, i should've figured it out myself. she said that i could do it over again, but i'm like, it's a waste of paper. the package turned out to be over 50pgs in total...i think.

bah, anyway, when i came back home, i had to finish cleaning up my room 'cuz it was messy..not OVERLY messy, but messy enough that i had to clean it 'cuz my dad were having guests over for a while before we headed out for dinner. i have too much junk and i think i shoved a lot of things in the closet. hopefully i'll remember where everything is.

so we went out for dinner, there were about 14-15ppl going out. we went to Summit Garden for dinner. man, it's so empty there, we didn't even really need to reserve a table. the dinner itself was alright, i'm full. but when ppl were just chatting, i could not understand them. if there was one thing i could change about myself, it would be for me to understand and speak Cantonese better.

but i got through the dinner. aside from not being able to understand my parent's highschool friends, my sister was pestering me again about calling ppl and stuff for jobs. it's getting annoying 'cuz she's telling me what to do again. i heard her the first time, and she says that i should call and be persistent so that the ppl at the temp agencies will remember my name. but then, i don't want to be annoying either and just bombarding them. like, don't get me wrong, i see it from her side too. but, i dunno...gah!

another thing i noticed was that my Aunt Shirley really does look like my grandma (the one that passed away a year and a half ago). i never really noticed it until today. it brought back some memories.

furthermore, i have a wedding reception to go to and the groom is her son. for some reason that kinda spawned me to think about how it would be like if i were married. yeah, weird eh? i don't even have a girlfriend, but i can see myself at that head table. a traditional chinese wedding with the red background, sitting there with my bride and my new wife. however, my wife is faceless. haha..maybe that's a good thing, or it's a bad thing. i dunno.

but i dunno, it just gave me a weird feeling, and i'm 23 man. i'm not getting any younger. i'm just glad that i don't have the pressure to get a girlfriend. i think it's funny when i hear friends talking about their parents talking about relationships with them. it's just funny what my friends' reactions are..haha.

anyway, that's just what i was thinking about tonight at dinner. going out for some bowling later tonight with some highschool friends. that should be fun. i hope i still have my game! :D gotta beat Mohammed!! :P hahaha..

well i'm out, awaiting for their phone call.
