I Rage On
the weekend wasn't too bad, i guess.
on Friday night, i decided to go to JOY fellowship at MCBC and i'm thinking about attending it more often, just to see what it's like. Friday was games night 'cuz it was also the night they were prepping for Pastor Paula's wedding. so that was cool.
played Bang! haha..it's still a fun game, and it's even more funny when you're playing with newbies 'cuz they get so confused. i understand what they're going through 'cuz there's just so much stuff you need to learn to play. but the more you play, the more you'll learn. it's a learn-as-you-play game really. no one's gonna remember how to play after just listening to the rules. so that was good.
i was the sheriff the first game, and it was down to 2 outlaws and a deputy at the end. but i died. haha..oh well. the 2nd game i was the renegade, but my character was a wimp, so i died rather quickly.
so after fellowship, a whole bunch of us headed off to Montana's to celebrate Mel's birthday. she didn't get a pie in the face. darn! hehe! it was good, i had a yummy desert. it was like a Chocolate Cookie Avalanche (i think it was called). it was like 3 huge double chocolate chip cookie with some white chocolate chips too, topped with whip cream, fudge, and i think vanilla ice cream. sounds yummy no? :P
haha..so that was Friday night. Saturday, i woke up at 1.30pm. typical i guess. and just..lounged around. 4.30pm showered, and then 5pm headed off to Mel's for the night. she just had a get together after the wedding. wasn't meant for celebrating her birthday she said. :P but we did!
played a game of poker with some ppl. man i sucked. was like the 3rd or 4th person out. but there were like 10 of us. so i left 'cuz, well, they needed more room 'cuz everyone was like cramped together. so yeah, i left and joined in on another game, or more like spectated. ended up taking score for them instead and helped Jen. but i messed up her scoring, so i stopped counting.
haha, the game they were playing was with Scrabble tiles. everyone would start off with 7 tiles and try to make words out of it. as soon as someone uses up all the tiles, they yell out take so everyone takes another tile. this keeps going until all the tiles are gone. everyone has to have the same number of tiles for scoring reasons of course. when the game is over, everyone counts the number at the bottom of the tiles, going down AND across. so if you used a letter twice, then you count it twice. it's a challenging game, and my brain isn't fast enough to play it. :P i just like helping. haha..and keeping score. my addition is getting better hahahaha! :P
so that was Saturday night. Sunday, went to church in the morning, and came back home for lunch. i was gonna try to watch the San Marino Grand Prix and the Jays game this afternoon, but i was too tired. passed out for a nap for about 3.5hrs. i already knew that Alonso won over Schumacher by 0.2seconds, and the Jays lost anyway, despite having Halladay on the mound.
i couldn't sleep last night for some reason. i don't know why. i wasn't really thinking about anything. most of you would probably attribute this to my previous post, but it's far from it. i kept on waking up at 2hr intervals, which was really annoying. hopefully it's not like that again tonight. i hate it when that happens.
as for my previous post. i dunno, maybe Maggie's right. i'm looking for something. but i don't know what. it seems like i've been looking for something for a real long time because i remember writing about it before. for now, i'm just trying to keep it inside and not let it bother my everyday behaviours. i'd rather keep this personal and behind closed doors if you don't mind. and if you do mind..well..hmm..kiss my butt! :P
