Comics
today i got up at 1pm, to my brother standing over me. i actually felt him walking 'cuz it was vibrating. oh, and it's not 'cuz he's like big, it's 'cuz my bed is on the floor.
anyway, so i woke up, and did my to do things for the day. the things to do today were: call Canada Hearing Centre (or something like that) and make an appointment to check out what's wrong with my hearing aid; call The Selection Group because they called me and because i need to look for a job and they can help me..haha; email my cover letter and resume to my sister at work.
ta da..all done. just like that. then i had a pizza bread for lunch. not very fulfilling, but oh well, it was something to eat.
then it was off to the batting cages with my brother and his friend, Matt, at Playdium. we got there too early, it was 3pm, and the cages don't open until 4pm for some stupid reason. beats me; we never asked. so we headed to the mall instead to kill some time.
i haven't been to Planet Hobby in a while. Planet Hobby is the mall's comic store. i go there from time to time to buy some comics. i'm not an avid comic, so i have issues from here and there. but the comic series that i want to get now is the Age of Apocalypse storyline. there's 6 books plus 2 info books. the info books cost slightly more than the regular comics. if i were to get all 8 books, it's gonna cost me well over $40. i don't really want to spend that much on books right now. so hopefully when i make money from my job that i hope to get, i'll be able to purchase it, if it's still available. i really want to get all the Ulimate X-Men issues too. there's like over 50 issues now. dang.
so yeah, not much else to "report" haha..i had my first homemade meal tonight since i've been back. it was good! yums! chicken! then i applied online where my sister works. i should really apply to other jobs, but i'm too lazy man! i wish finding a job was easy! :P
watched WWE Raw tonight. it wasn't that great. i wasn't into it. it was kinda gay. lalala..
oh yeah, i gotta wake up early tomorrow. 'cuz my hearing appointment is at 10am. bleh.
ok i think i'm gonna go watch a movie. what movie? i dunno yet. maybe i'll tell you tomorrow...
