HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEL! grandpa! hahaha

y'know what. i don't care anymore. i shouldn't let something like "that" bother me so much. i shouldn't let these types of situations bug me so much. i really need to live out my so-called motto of, "whatever happens, happens." it's like the saying in Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, "The universe tends to unfold as it should." so let's have it happen.

anyway, don't want to talk about that, i rather bitch about something else 'cuz i always have something to bitch about! hooray.

work sucks. how will i ever survive this for the rest of my life if i can't even take it for one freaking summer? *sigh* i hope that this isn't what it's always gonna be like, otherwise, i might not want the family company at all. it's too much stress, and too many problem. it's so unstable it seems. sometimes i just sit there wondering what the hell i'm suppose to do 'cuz i'm so confused, and how do i solve this problem?

gah..and then when i get home, all they ever about is work. the problems there are there, the ppl at work. it's constant bitch bitch bitch. i hate it. it's like can we talk about something else other than work? like c'mon, why does life have to revolve around work 24/7. suffice to say, i'm never around the dinner table for too long.

anyway, on to more positive things shall we?

on Thursday night, Saved by the Bell had a practice. it was alright, but i didn't really get much out of practice, all i really did was hit fly balls to Derrick, Howard, and Jeff. but anyway, afterwards Howard, my bro, and i headed to the tennis courts to play some..well, tennis. :P my brother was the best one out of all of us since he never lost. we played tie breaker mode 'cuz playing an actual match would have took too long. Howard was a pretty good player as well, and as for me, i still suck! haha..well i guess i'm not THAT bad, but i'm sure that if i play more often, i'll get better. afterall, practice makes perfect right?

anyway, on to Friday night. JOY Fellowship. it was dubbed "fun night." the activity that we did was "music videos" so pretty much like summer retreats where we had to do a karoake video or something. my group consisted of Rebecca, Joeie, Sarah, Diane (or Diana?), this dude (name escapes me right now), and myself. we had to do the song "Leaving on a Jet Plane." haha we wasted so much time just talking and fooling around. but we were able to put something together, mainly the 1st and last verses, and the chorus, but the 2nd verse was just clueless. apparently i was suppose to be pimpin' or something, but i just stood on stage confused like crazy. but it was fun nonetheless i guess. making a fool our of ourselves. but the other videos were well done, way more organized i must say. the "Gone" group was really creative and funny. as well, the group that did "I Ain't Got You" was pretty good too. so yeah, fellowship was a temporary fix for my mood. i wasn't in such a great mood that day.

Saturday was a pretty busy day. i think. hum..actually not really. i was gonna do something with Odie but plans fell through 'cuz there wasn't enough time, so i used that time to sleep in. :P haven't slept in for a while, so it was good. :P so, i woke up at around 2pm-ish i think. haha..and headed over to the game diamond at around 3.30pm when my brother got home from work.

btw, i hate John Cena and i hope that Shawn Michaels kicks Hulk Hogan's ass at SummerSlam!

ok, Saved by the Bell had a softball game against Antz. Wilson keeps telling me that we're SOOOO STACKED and that we were gonna demolish them and stuff like that. Wilson should eat his words 'cuz Antz kicked out butts, without him. hahaha.. :P

after the game, i dropped my brother off at home and took a quick shower and then headed off to Vince's place for Joel's "surprise" birthday party. not sure if it was a surprise, i wasn't there when everything unfolded. i was the last to arrive i think. anyway, when i got there, they were playing Karaoke Revolution, the game craze of the moment. i guess it's a good game if you like to sing. so yeah, we were playing that for most of the night, and even i sang a couple songs..peer pressure i tell ya. so yeah, Sylvia prepared everyone dinner and it was yummies.

so after dinner, they played some more KR, and then Silas left, and everyone got tired of it. so we decided to watch a movie. we decided on Shaolin Soccer. we tried to get Odie to stay for the whole movie 'cuz she actually didn't have a curfew that night (it's a rarity! haha), but she was too tired to continue. booo! haha..anyway, by the end of the movie only Tang, Mel, and i were left. Odie, Wilson, and Phil left earlier. and Syv and Joel left before we started the movie. anyway, fun night, lots of pictures were taken. wish i had my camera there though! :P

Sunday, woke up earlier to drive my brother to work. i still had about 30mins to kill before church started. so instead of taking the highway to church, i just took local roads. so i took Erin Mills Parkway to Eglinton all the way up to Eastgate/Creekbank. that still took me 15mins. haven't been to service that early before. i was pretty sleepy during service too. does 15mins of sleep really make that much of a difference?

after service, just chilled and loitered around for a bit before heading over to Tim Horton's to loiter there! haha..dropped everyone off back at church before heading home for a nap before going to pick up my brother at 3.15pm.

headed over to the game diamond at 3.30pm to pick up Tiger Woods 2005 for PSP for my brother from Anthony. i wasn't planning on umping, but since Andre needed help, i decided to help him out and ump the late game with him. it took soooooo loooooong. haha..the game was so slow. not much to report there! :P

on to Silas' BBQ. gave Odie a ride there too. i'm glad that we both knew how to get to Silas' place. haha..i think i might've took a wrong turn if she wasn't there. but anyway, we got there and they were watching Harold & Kumar. haha.

anyway, later, someone called Odie's cell saying that Ray has my fanny pack with my wallet and stuff in it. :S i didn't even know i forgot it until it was mentioned to me! :S haha i drove without a license! haha..thanks Ray!

so after the movie, we played..KR..AGAIN..Silas loves that game man. lol..this time not many ppl were playing it, so it kinda died by the time food was ready. Phil Law made some steaks and they were excellent, although very unhealthy. i didn't even know how the steak was done until someone told me that it didn't look healthy and bloody just when i was about to stick it into my mouth. it was done pretty rare. haha it was funny when someone asked Victor if it was healthy. he was like well, "medically it's not healthy, but i'd eat it anyway 'cuz it's good" hahaha..

we started to play another game called Burnout3. haha it was a lot of fun 'cuz all you really had to do was make other cars crash. we played the Road Rage mode the most. i think it would've been more fun if we were able to play 2 players head to head, but the other controller wouldn't work for the game for some reason. anyway, Vince had the highscore of 29 takeouts. i ended up with a high of 14, and that was on my first try! booo! lol. fun game though. i'd buy it if i had my PS2.

so the weekend was pretty much a success. good times with friends, video games, food..good stuff! :)

now if only that was everyday..
