MCBCSL All-Star Weekend

not sure if i have really much to say, or much to elaborate on. i guess i'll just talk about some highlights over the past week.

so yeah, i spend the last week, trying to study for my Learning Disabilities final on Saturday. i didn't actually get down to some hardcore studying until Thursday and Friday. on those two days, i finished the 10 modules i needed to look over for short note definitions. then i spent Saturday morning doing essay outlines for the essay portion of the final. we had 8 questions, but i only wrote outlines for 5 of them 'cuz we only had to choose 2 of them on the final to answer.

so yeah, Saturday went up to Waterloo after dropping my brother off at the diamond at around 12pm, got there at like 1.30pm. finished off my outlines and then started to review everything for the final, which was the take place at 4pm in the PAC.

the final itself wasn't so bad, or maybe it was. i don't know. but whatever, i wrote it and it's done with. hopefully i wrote enough for both parts of the final. we'll find out how i did after i get my marks back for everything.

after the final, i came back to Mississauga for the Saved by the Bell team outing at Felix's place. they started at 4.30pm i think, and i got there at around 7.30pm. they were still eating when i arrived, so that was cool. we had kbbq in Felix's backyard. after the dinner we played White Magic 'cuz some of the ppl there didn't know how to play, so we played it until the majority of the team got the idea of it. after the ppl didn't get it there were kinda kickin' themselves about how easy it was. haha. almost like how i was kicking myself when i found out the Johnny Ooop secret! bwahahhaaha! :P

so after that we all helped clean up and went inside for some Karoake Revolution. EVERYONE sang except for Nina and myself. why didn't i sing? 'cuz i refuse. i'm the most horrible singer you'll ever hear. you don't want to end up with a hearing aid like myself. :P i couldn't sing if my life depended on it. but anyway, yeah, it was fun watching and listening to the rest of the team sing. we broke several of Jeff Chan's records and unlocked a couple songs for him in the process 'cuz we borrowed his PS2 and games for it. so yeah the evening ended at around 11pm. :) pretty good night of team bonding i suppose. :P i'm a party pooper! HAHA!

Sunday i kinda woke up on the wrong side of the bed, i was pretty moody. most ppl at the church passed it off as tiredness, but i was actually agitated quite a bit. i'm not gonna bother going into details of why.

so anyway, Sunday was Candy Carnival at MCBC where all the kids there were involved in playing games to collect dollars so they could buy candy at the candy shop. haha it was cute watching all the kids play the various games. pretty successful i'd say. :)

went home for lunch 'cuz i was pretty beat, and i didn't know where some ppl disappeared to. so yeah, came home to eat and took a nap until about 3pm. had to pick up my brother from work at 3.15pm and then proceeded to the game diamond at 4pm.

kinda watched the Cworks/Yellow Submarine game, while doing other stuff around the vicinity of the diamond, like playing catch or just talking with ppl.

after that game was the 2nd Annual Captains vs League All-Stars Game. that game was pretty entertaining.

• Odie's quick glove on the mound after Tenn-Yuk lined it back at her

i think best of all was the post-game cheers! haha..the Captains went first and screamed "You're BENCHED!" hahaha, but we were quick to remark as the All-Stars cheered out, "WE QUIT!" hahaha..that was pretty amusing. :P then we had post-game team pictures for both respective teams. haha..in case you didn't know, the League All-Stars were able defeat the Captains this year. :D YAH ALL-STARS! :P so the all-time record is tied at 1-1. :D

after the game, several of us went to Crabby Joe's for dinner at South Common Mall. lots of discussions there about various things. Silas was also very undecisive that night as he changed his drink 3 times before the waitress got through everyone's order. hahaha..it was kinda funny.

so even though Sunday started off pretty crabby, it ended on a good note. :)

and then i couldn't sleep at night. for some gay reason. i posted about it last night too. i didn't fall asleep until about 2.30am, and only got a couple hours of sleep since i had to wake up at 7am for work. :S surprisingly, i barely napped before work too, which is an oddity 'cuz i normally do. sleep in the car ride there, and then sleep until the work buzzer goes off. but not today. :S that's is so whacked. hopefully i'll be able to get some real shut eye tonight.

anyway, looks like a pretty busy week coming up. hopefully i'll have time to post during the week so i don't forget. by the end of the week! :)
