Fun Weekend
so on Friday i headed home on the early FedBus to Islington Subway Station at 1.30pm. it was a relative smooth ride i guess, so i had a good nap :) anyway, got home and then left to go to the dentist. no cavities! woooo! ;P
after the dentist i went to Best Buy so i could pick up the new U2 cd, How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. it's not bad! i think it's like typical U2 stuff, so it's good! :) and i went to A&W 'cuz i was craving for some good onion rings! they have the best onion rings ever man!!
at around 6.30pm, i left to go pick up Gen, and then headed off to Dave & Buster's for Letty's belated birthday celebration. it was good, we had dinner (well, i had dessert 'cuz i had a really really late lunch) and then off to the fun games! WEE!!
we played a bunch of ticket games 'cuz y'know, we want some return on money spent there right? we played like those coin games, the one where the light goes around and you have to try to get it in the middle game, sports games, and the hammer game.
hhaha, lemme tell you about the hammer game. Letty, Joel, Silas, and i tried that game. you'd think that that Joel or Silas would win that game out of the 4 of us because they're bigger and probably have much more muscle then Letty and i right? haha, it was fun, i won with a 95 rating, Joel was close clocking in with a 93 i think, and then Silas at 91. Letty, sorry, i don't remember what you got... :P oh a sidenote, Letty and Joel both missed the target on their first try. it was hilarious. you had to be there to see it! :P
the sports game we played were the basketball games and the football game. well only i played the football game. nothing special to report about that, but the bball game was pretty fun. we had face offs, any combination you could think of between Silas, Joel, Iris, and i. at first we played the close ranged one with the really really small rims. the key to that game i think was lightly banking it off the backboard. i dunno who was the highest scorer, but i know that i always finished around the 50-60pt mark. :D then we tried the real basketball game, like where the net was like at regulation height or something. that game is hard when it's like rapid fire. by the end of the game i wasn't shooting anymore, but rather, pushing the ball at the net. lol it was weak, but i was able to get some in. i think the highest i scored for that game was 18pts.
after some of us ran out of money, we decided that it was time for a break, so we headed to the bar area where Joyce, Gen, Derrick, and Ray were hanging out. it was there that we took most of our pictures and got Letty to drink some shots of tequila and stuff. Letty's never done it before so the first shot was pretty fun to watch. she had to take a tequila shot 101 class with Ray so she knew what to do. when she took the shot you should've saw the look on her face! it was priceless! hehe :P Letty took shots with Ray and Silas while the rest of us sat and watch and mingled.
later on, we went to play some regular videogames, but we found ourselves heading back to the ticket games until we were all absolutely out of money on our play cards. we were gonna play pool, but we just...didn't. so we just called it a night. i was a good night! lots of fun! :)
so that was only Friday.
Saturday morning, when i got home from D&B's i decided that my night wasn't over. i wasn't tired yet. so i watched Stuck On You. it's not as funny as the first time you see it. i still think the all-time funniest movie is Dumb & Dumber. lol! i can watch that over and over again without getting sick of it. i went to bed at around 5.30am-ish..
woke up at 3pm..heheh..and just vegged around the house all day..but in the evening i went out with Gen (the answer is NO ppl and you KNOW what i'm talking about!!) to see National Treasure. it was either that or Alexander. apparently Alexander wasn't received too well, so we opted to watch National Treasure. it was actually a pretty good movie, so watch it if you get the chance to! i thought the title is kinda corny tho, but i guess it fits. :)
today was a typical Sunday. church, Timmy's, home, lunch, watch football, nap, FedBus back to Waterloo..and here i am. that's how every Sunday is. fun stuffs huh? :)
so that was the weekend! it was enjoyable! fun-filled with no work. that's how the weekend should be! man, next term i'm gonna have a 4-day weekend every weekend. it's gonna be insane. and my earliest class is at 1pm. lol!
anyway, i guess this is long enough. don't want anyone complaining about HOW LONG THIS POST WAS! ;P
