Inventory
woke up bright and early at 8am this morning. gonna have to do it again tomorrow morning but i get to sleep in an hour later. yippee!
so today and tomorrow, i had/have to work for my daddio. my bro and i get to count inventory. we were sent to the Scarborough store, where my uncle works, to write down all the piece of furniture on the floor there. every single piece that has a price tag on it. there were a lot of pieces of furniture and whatnot. sofas, love seats (oooooOo), arm chairs, dining arm chairs, dining side chairs..blah blah blah..even silk plants and picture frames. every piece accounted for. we started at 10am and finished at about 2.30pm. we stayed and chatted to our uncle for a little while, you know just small talk and stuff (some of you guys know about my family history) at about 3pm, we headed back to Mississauga for lunch at McDonalds, and then began doing it all over again for the Mississauga store. we managed to get everything in the "front" of the store done by 5pm. then it was home time. tomorrow we hit it off again at 10am to finish the job.
how exciting eh?
anyway, after work we went out for dinner, courtesy of my oldest sister. ooo, we went to Red Lobster and i ordered my usual Admiral's Feast. mmm..goooood! although the service was pretty bad today. normally it isn't this bad, but i guess restaurants have their bad days.
dinner with the family is always...interesting, i guess. sometimes i feel so..different and disconnected from my family. maybe it's 'cuz i can't hear everything that is said at the dinner table and i'm off in my own little world. and then there are those comments my family makes that totally piss me off. it's not about me, but it's about other ppl. it's like they're so unpatient and inconsiderate of other ppl. it's almost as if they look down and condescend them. it's so annoying, it's like they have no respect for other ppl. it just gets me angry. we're no better than other ppl, and ppl are just doing their jobs and minding their own business y'know? geez..
but then there's other times where it's great, we're all able to have a good time, make fun of each other, and everything is cool. lots of laughs.
*sigh*...
i need to get my haircut soon. sometime next week i guess. even tho i said that i would cut it after the term was over in April, i dunno if i can take it much longer. i'm starting to do the "flip" thing with my hair, which is not cool. the hair takes longer to wash and dry. the hair is getting in the way of my sight sometimes, and even sometimes pokes me in the eye. and the chinese mullet is NOT cool. even tho some ppl say that it looks good or ok on me. i dunno if they're just being nice of if that's what they actually think! :S
oh..i've got to get the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Season One DVD! it's $30 at FutureShop!! AND i found out that Season One of Full House is out of DVD too! HAHAHAHA!!!
oy..i need new shoes. i think i've mentioned that before already....why is there a wrench in my room?
