Back [blank] ....

yeah, back.

back from the cruise.
back to Waterloo.
back to freaking school.

where the heck did the summer go? like honestly! it's like a blur.

i commented on the summer for the most part in my last post. so i'm probably not gonna say much about work and softball. work was work. softball was alright in the regular season, but awesome during the tournie and banquet.

alright. so yeah..i'm sure most of you want to know how the cruise was. i'll keep it short and save the long ramble for some other time. so in short, the cruise was an awesome experience. i had a lot of fun! the food was great (despite the fact that the famous midnight buffet is now non-existent). the waiters and the onboard crew was awesome and so friendly. i've never seen so many ppl smile at their jobs as much as these guys. they were constantly putting a smile on their faces and had so much enthusiasm. it was great. there was always something to do on the ship, so you could never really get bored. anyway, that's all i'll say about the cruise. i'll keep y'all hanging for now. mwahaha! ;P

so onward. i got back into Toronto at about 2.30ish pm on Sept. 11, a Saturday. that afternoon, i took the time to unpack everything from the trip and do laundry. after that, i just went upstairs and started packing up for the move 'cuz i was moving up to Waterloo the very next day. so yeah, i think most of the stuff was prepacked anyway, like my plastic drawer, a couple boxes. like all i really needed to pack was my clothes, toiletries, bedding stuff, PS2 and yeah..that was pretty much it.

so yeah, after that i just had dinner with the family and shared stories from the cruise, and later on, i went over to Esther's bbq. ha, she forgot that she invited me to go before i went on the cruise! tsktsk Esta..you're getting old and forgetful! :P so yeah, at Esther's it was nice to see everyone and share stories and catch up with a few ppl. we were also VERY into the semifinal game of the World Cup of Hockey tournament between Canada and Czech Republic. that was a great game to watch. it was nervewrecking! we were so loud! everyone was jumping for joy when Kris Draper scored to break a 2-2 tie, and then we all just groaned and shut up for a while when Patrik Elias scored only 6 seconds later to tie it up again. booooohiss! so that brought on overtime. and it was a thriller! Roberto Luongo made some spectacular saves, but Vincent Lecavlier's goal was so sweet! how can you score on that kinda angle! the room just went craaaaaazy! we were jumping and screaming all over the place, celebrating Canada's victory! it was awesome.

but anyway, yeah..after the game we watched the end of The Apprentice 2. uh..that's all i really have to say about that..i'm tired of stupid reality shows. they're so overrated. honestly, all those contestants on those shows are only on it for a chance at fame. just to have their faces on a tv. LOSERS!! have talent and work your way up you mofos! aaaaaaanyway...so we started to watch My Sassy Girl. haha..i love that movie. it's a good movie. very funny! go watch it! really! do it! DO IT! JUST DO IT!

so yeah..i moved up on sunday. and man, when i got into my room. ewww! it was dirty. i'm sure that no one occupied it over the summer. i'm VERY certain of that. why? because my sister, my brother and i found a molding telephone book. THAT'S SO SICK MAN! who leaves something like that in a room. groosss! ugh..so yeah cleaned up a bit. you know what sucks? the fact that when you unpack. you almost always forget something. it's like a given. you'll never remember EVERYTHING..you will always FORGET something. *sigh* no one's perfect. so yeah, i unpacked for about an hour and a half before i left for the UWCCF's NSR (University of Waterloo Chinese Christian Fellowship's New Student Reception) at 5.30pm. it was pretty good i guess. met some new ppl..tho i've forgotten most of their names already..oops! i'm never good with names, i'm good with faces. haha :P played a couple games and stuff, and after the NSR, some of us went to play some street hockey. it wasn't bad this time around. tho a lot of ppl come out to socialize now instead of play. but then again, yesterday was pretty humid, even at night. so yeah..oh well..whatever.

later on the night, when i came back to my new room/home/whatever you want to call it, i met two more of my unitmates. i have 3 unitmates in total. i met one of them earlier in the day. anyway, yeah, we got to know each other a little bit, and yeah talked about the hot topic when we all move in to our new places. INTERNET! hahaha..yeah we're gonna split it 4 ways to make the story short. :P so yeah..took shower, unpacked a little more and watched Zoolander to cap off my day.

so comes today. what can i say about today? not much. just first day of classes. i'm debating on which class to drop. right now, the frontrunner is History & Film. it's an easy course, but i dunno, i just don't want to do all that work! maybe i'll take it next term. and plus, i dread group work. i'm not a ppl person. HONESTLY! i'm so shy around strangers. it's a disease really. an uncurable disease.

anyway, i'm also taking 4 other courses. which is why i'm trying to figure out which class to drop 'cuz i can't handle 5 courses. i don't want to repeat what i did already. but yeah, in addition to History & Film, i'm also taking Social Psychology of Leisure, Sociology of Sport, A History of Popular Culture, and Popular Music (or something like that). i like to take courses that are someone similar to one another in a term. just to make things easier and just to see if there is any connection between the two classes. i find it to be an advantage if i can find things that are repeated in each class, that way it'll help me remember it better, and learn the material faster.

so yeah, i got let out of my night class early today, so that's why i'm here and able to blog away about my last couple days. boring, i know. sorry. nothing exciting happens in my life (except for the cruise). hahah! but i'm itching to get on the ice and play some hockey. and i'm also killing time before the hockey meeting..haha man, that thought structure did not flow at all! HAHAHA..i'm stupid.

anyway, i'm off..later

btw, being colourblind sucks ass.

that is all. :)
